They've made a film about her life including several references to LCFC and scenes from matchdays. www.beverleyfilm.com She used to wear all the gear in the 80s and would always be around on a matchday. Did some work as a spotter to help the lads out if I remember correctly and was fascinated by the whole scene at the time. Those were the days. The happiest memories of supporting City. Before Sky Sports came along and ruined things.

Seem to remember her hanging around with a blonde haired white girl whose nickname was 'sidekick' and had a big drinking problem.
jonthefox Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 I've just read the mercury piece on this and it really interests me. I grew up in oadby in the 80's and knew a lot of mixed race kids from highfields. Never knew it was directed by cass pennant.
