This is going to be difficult

It's going to be difficult but with some quality additions Kramaric, Corluka?, Okazaki? I think we have a great chance of staying up.

Thankfully our latter fixtures are games we can win. And not the Top 6!

Remember we already have 5 points that by rights we shouldn't get, by which I mean Manure, Arsenal and Liverpool. If we do a better job against those around us in the second half of the season (villa is a nice start) and pick up 2/3 bonus points, then we have every chance

after looking at the fixture list, I still think we have left ourselves with too much to do to stay up we need a minimum of 42 points which is 8.3 wins. I hope I am proved wrong but just cannot see us getting 25 points

Could you see us getting 7 points from 9 against Hull away Liverpool away and Villa at home after our results prior to those games?

I'd say there's more chance of the bar being 32 points than 42 points at this stage. Probably more chance of it being 22 points because there is no way on earth that 5 of Villa, QPR, Hull, Burnley, Palace, Sunderland and West Brom are getting to 42. I'd be pretty surprised if 2 did.

We've just taken 7 points from 3 games and have 2 winnable home fixtures coming up. Each of our last 8 matches looks winnable. I'm ordinarily fairly pessimistic but I cannot see us getting below 30 points under any circumstances. We were absolutely dreadful for about 6 straight games between Burnley and Villa away and even in that run we should have got way more points than we did.

The team seems to have figured out how to get the points they deserve of late and most importantly we've started to create chances again. To create so many chances yesterday despite the fact that Mahrez wasn't there is really heartening, as for all they are about as exciting as watching John Major iron his pants, Villa have got a good defensive record.

I think if we get to 36 we'll be ok. I'm pretty sure that the final game of the season is going to be critical for both us and QPR.

The next two home games are massive. With that tricky run of fixtures in Feb/March to "look forward" to, it's important we're not cut adrift. Really need to win 1 of the next 3 games and hopefully get another draw as well.

Go into the last 8 games no more than 4 points off safety and I'd be confident of us making it.

36 is probably about right this season. I said if we got a point at Anfield and beat Villa we might actually be able to do it. Now feeling much more positive.

We have the best run-in of all the relegation candidates. By mid-March our final 10 games are all winnable.

And yes, it will probably go down to QPR at home on the last day...
