This is going to be difficult

We are going to to have to go on one hell of a run ,following some good form. We are winning games now but every time we do so do some of the other teams near us .

Really hope we can keep it up ,

Good luck for the rest of the Season CITY

We will need a couple more signings .

But there will be a time when we play those teams near us. As long as we're in with a shout when we play Burnley, QPR, Hull etc I'm confident of our chances and believe we will stay up.

We are going to have to turn over one of the bigger teams in order to stand a chance. We have put ourselves back in the mix and thats all we can do right now. Just take it game by game and lets see what we can do and how far we can go.

if we are still this close come March well stay up. don't we play allll the shit teams (most at home?) in like our last 8 games?

We've cut our deficit from 6 points to 2 already, so we're closing the gap, we can get out now, it'd just be a case of staying out once we are.

We're kidding ourselves if we think we have a chance of staying up. This is our run of form and we're still rock bottom!

We're down and may as well concentrate on FA cup now. As previously stated if we play our strongest side each round we've every chance of winning it!

This idea that our last 8 games are easy makes me laugh. They're the same 8 opponents that we picked up 1 point from after our season-defining thrashing of Man U.

Yes we play all the shit teams who beat us in the first half of the season.

yeh but we're better now and know what we're doing. ie. today. we lost to villa but beat them this time because we know the score now. we've got this.

Shut up! You're full of it!!

too negative, we were 5points adrift of 19th at one point, and at 5pm we were 3 points away from 14th. Its going nicely, and if kramaric was playing today, I think he could have beat his record of 8 in a game

Of course there is a chance of staying up.

You're kidding yourself if you think anyone will take this post seriously.

Yes we are doomed and down even though after the next set of fixtures we could potentially move up to 15th.

We are still 3 points away from safety but the better statistic for us is that more teams are getting dragged in to it.  Like someone else has said, we were 5 points from the next nearest team 3 weeks ago.  Now are we within 5 points of 8 other sides!  Its much much rosier.

Haha. You lot really are deluded. Blind optimism, in some ways I admire it, but clearly haven't been following City for as long as I have!

Trouble is you morons will be the same lot who applaud Pearson for taking a second string to White Hart Lane in the cup, despite it being our biggest game of the season.

Blind optimism hahaha. There is 17 games, which equates to 51 points to claw back 3 points on the team's above us. Obviously there is a lot of work left, but you're a moron if you think the seasons already over. May as well watch the cricket if that's the case

I dont get this.  If you think playing our strongest side gives us a decent chance of winning the FA cup (which means winning all those games) what makes you think we cant play "our strongest side" and win enough games to stay in the league?

Closed the gap from 6pts down to 2pts in just 3 games (17 left to play) and were just 3pts behind 15th.

Writing us off is as daft as people getting carried away

Reckon we can get 16 points roughly at home with games left and that puts us on 33. We'd then need i think 5/6 points minimum away.

Or in other words 21 points minimum from now. We could do that

Some people have no patience.....we'll be above a few teams in May (15th for me).And i went in the blue moon for the stoke game that sent us down....had to wipe my feet on the way out!
