Manwell Pablo Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Haha. You lot really are deluded. Blind optimism, in some ways I admire it, but clearly haven't been following City for as long as I have! Trouble is you morons will be the same lot who applaud Pearson for taking a second string to White Hart Lane in the cup, despite it being our biggest game of the season. From the bloke who thinks we're incapable of beating the bottom eight teams in the league but still somehow thinks we can win the FA cup with Chelsea Man U Man City Arsenal and Liverpool still in with easy fourth round ties, and we more than likely have Spurs away.......ok
shailen Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 We're kidding ourselves if we think we have a chance of staying up. This is our run of form and we're still rock bottom! We're down and may as well concentrate on FA cup now. As previously stated if we play our strongest side each round we've every chance of winning it! This idea that our last 8 games are easy makes me laugh. They're the same 8 opponents that we picked up 1 point from after our season-defining thrashing of Man U. You're worse than Ian Stringer

Trouble is you morons will be the same lot who applaud Pearson for taking a second string to White Hart Lane in the cup, despite it being our biggest game of the season. We didn't play our second string team in the last round? I don't see why the next one would be any different. What's the alternative to being optimistic? Just not bother? There's no point accepting defeat when we are still within touching distance with plenty of games left to play.
Strokes Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 You're worse than Ian Stringer Come on, he is a horrible little troll but that's a step too far.

Just an attention seeking twat. Heard it all before. Pearson out posts. Ridiculous.and boring.

waylander Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Difficult but doable and with the momentum were getting very doable .I have been followed the city for years keep smiling. one of the best squads we've had in years tooo !!!
ozleicester Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Im looking for cheap flights back in December 15.
eunmac Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 17 Games remaining. Statistically 23 points needed to get 40 pts (which is usually the safety mark, only two teams getting more than 40 pts have to ever been relegated. In 2010 31 points would have meant safety). As an average, the number of points in the prem needed to survive would be 36.5 points so if you make 37 we have a slightly better than 50/50 chance of survival. Historically these are the number of clear points needed to survive a season: 43 pts Once (West ham relegated with 42 points in 2003) 42 pts 41 pts Once 40 pts x2 39 pts 38 pts x2 37 pts x3 36 pts x2 35 pts x3 34 pts x4 33 pts 32 pts 31 pts Once (Burnley relegated in 18th with 30 points in 2010) So basically we need to : Win 6 Draw 6 Lose 5 and we're pretty safe
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Suggest everyone do what I've done and put the blue bell end on ignore, not once seen it make a worthwhile post, everything it ever writes is for a reaction. If it replies to this don't quote it. There's just no way it's a Leicester City fan, poisonous.

Yep we are down and out throw in the towel. Wave the white flag. We are 20 points adrift. Mathmatically impossible to stay up and...... Oh hang on..... No... Only 2 points adrift.... 5 points off 12th place with over 50 points to play for still ...... Ah **** it lets give up anyway, yep we are doomed ****in moron

Trouble is you morons will be the same lot who applaud Pearson for taking a second string to White Hart Lane in the cup, despite it being our biggest game of the season. I've been following City for a long time. We've had a poor first half to the season and we need a good second half if we're to survive, but it's not impossible. On average the relegation line advances by one point per match, if we can better that then we're in with a shout. We do need to improve the squad to get there, and no matter who our manager is they'd want to do that.
SeattleShane Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 mods when can we ban this blue bellend or whatever he's called Then lets not have a message board if its only going to be one sided posts.
katieakita Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Looks like not only is his glass empty but someone has pissed in it. lost me on the if you have been watching Leicester as long as me bit, I,m nearly 50 and can remember numerous occasions when we have put results together to keep us up,get us up, reach play offs, we reeled in Fulham to clinch promotion and under MON had slumped down the league only to find a bit of form late on to sneak into the playoffs. Wonder why we say Foxes never quit
Guest Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 We're basically half way through the season. All teams have to play the same teams. If we're good enough we'll stay up.
Finn Claw II Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 We can't really afford many slip ups but it is not impossible. Would like 4 point from Stoke and Palace games and maybe 4 from man city, arsenal, man utd, Chelsea, Everton. If we are in touch after that lot I'll be more optimistic

Be nice to tick off a couple of those wins in the next few games, that would make it much nicer reading!!!
Richard Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I think we need at least 8 points from our next 7 to keep us in with a chance. Some tough fixtures coming up

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Clearly that's unrealistic for some on here. It's not just what we do, it's what the other teams at the bottom do as well. It is unrealistic to say if we win six and draw two, then we will be safe. They could equally do the same, or even better!
chapero82 Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 after looking at the fixture list, I still think we have left ourselves with too much to do to stay up we need a minimum of 42 points which is 8.3 wins. I hope I am proved wrong but just cannot see us getting 25 points

mugshot Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 5 points between 20th and 12th, if we can maintain a decent form and a few teams start dropping points then it may not be that difficult. We just need to be winning our games against bottom half competition and with our final run in including a number of these I can see us staying up.
