Ajax Treesdown Posted 23 November 2005 Author Posted 23 November 2005 Filbort Street? Don't even ask?!?
holly Posted 23 November 2005 Posted 23 November 2005 better to stand at the back though, coz then those who wanna sit can sit, but they should sit near the front! i ent really overly fussed i do like standing coz it gets more emotional, but sittin can be good
frenchy_lcfc Posted 23 November 2005 Posted 23 November 2005 I'd rather stand!!! Its much better! But i don't mind! As long as we get a better Atmosphere!!!! What i think what should do when the game a is boring or there is no atmosphere! We should start a Mexican wave all around the ground! Thats what they do in France and it works!! Hehehe..!
Jimmy Posted 23 November 2005 Posted 23 November 2005 from a safety point of view it would be better to introduce a row of staning at the front
SystonFox Posted 23 November 2005 Posted 23 November 2005 or a few at the back. either way i enjoy standing more. easier to wave my arms about weather its \o/ "stand up if you love leicester" \o/ or weather its shouting abuse at away fans, or giving the ref the willy puller sign its always fun to stand up and sing. i sit about 5 rows from the back in the kop, but i might move up to the back soon so i can bang on the polycarbonate wall and create some real decent atmosphere in f1
john_lcfc Posted 23 November 2005 Posted 23 November 2005 stand up if you love leicester ( see my sig for my answer)
lcfcalan Posted 23 November 2005 Posted 23 November 2005 Having a 'standing' area, such as in the Kop would allow all like minded people to gather together and raise the atmosphere. Numbered/allocated seating prevents this. So a standing option is favourite IMO
Libertine Posted 23 November 2005 Posted 23 November 2005 The only bad thing about standing is that you don't get the big leap when the team scores. Not that we can score.....
SystonFox Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 we scored twice on tuesday which was nice. 1 was from the peno spot though so most if not all in the kop were already stood.
Guest Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 The only bad thing about standing is that you don't get the big leap when the team scores. Do you wanna bet?
Guest Gist Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 I wish we would sing most of the game it makes the matchday experience much better for those who dont normally go to games. I didnt go but my mates who went Cardiff away said although we lost it wasnt a bad away game because there was a good atmosphere there. Hopefully we can get a good one going saturday
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 I dont think bringing terracing back is nessacerily the way foward, I like my seat Allowing people to stand as much as they want is IMO the way to get a half decent atmosphere going.
Jimmy Posted 24 November 2005 Posted 24 November 2005 in the kop at filbo we stood all game but sat at ht, so keep the seats for lazy bastards like me
