Phube Posted 6 August 2006 Posted 6 August 2006 Anyone else using it, it's cool. I can have my BBC Hompage, but have FoxesTalk as a Homepage Tab!!! Or look at ALL my website at once!! Excuse me, I'm quite sad!!
Suffolk_fox Posted 6 August 2006 Posted 6 August 2006 I am on Mozilla Firefox. It also uses tabs and is apparently alot safer than IEx. Alot quicker too!
Unit Posted 6 August 2006 Posted 6 August 2006 I use firefox too, i'm not suprised internet explorer copied the tabs thing, it's ace. there's so many addons for firefox it's the best by far.

I sometimes end up with 10 tabs! Annoying when you accidentally close that page and lose them all though!
Phube Posted 6 August 2006 Author Posted 6 August 2006 Tried Fire Fox and Opera, they just seemed a bit annoying compared with IE. Maybe it a computer people thing...

Mine always ask whether I really want to close 5,6, 7 tabs, perhaps your settings/option want changing. I've also set mine to remember the last tabs I had open it gives you a choice of resuming or starting afresh with new tabs.

Yep, thats right, in Tools > Options > Tabs, make sure the "Warn when closing multiple tabs" box is checked.
Deathside Posted 6 August 2006 Posted 6 August 2006 I don't like this whole tab browsing thing I am compelled to use IE7 as part of the Windows Vista Beta but on my XP PCs I stick firmly with IE6
Daggers Posted 6 August 2006 Posted 6 August 2006 I like tabs, it's quicker to cover up something on screen if someone approaches the computer
Deathside Posted 6 August 2006 Posted 6 August 2006 I like tabs, it's quicker to cover up something on screen if someone approaches the computer I guess I'll get used to it in time - Well I guess I'll have no choice Very soon it won't be possible to get a browser that doesn't use tab browsing
Alexikokopops Posted 6 August 2006 Posted 6 August 2006 I guess I'll get used to it in time - Well I guess I'll have no choice Very soon it won't be possible to get a browser that doesn't use tab browsing With Mozilla you can set it so that when you click on a link it opens up in a new window rather than a new tab, so it's just like IE.
