If people want to moan about players not performing, fine. If people want to moan about tactics, fine. They are all justified... but people just look for stuff to have a go about and it's pretty sad. Lets look at what he actually said "We have had a bug in the club over the last week and several of the players out there today have picked it up and played through it. But despite that I thought we finished very strongly and could have even nicked it at the end." Wow what shocking comments, so worthing of a thread taking another pop at him. I agree with you, even if things are going well for City the fans will have something to moan about, stick by the team and support them, yesterday was a great point for us just stop the constant moaning it's getting boring!

What gives you the right to dictate what people can or can not say for ****s sake? The fact that he laps us these poor performances like a sychophantic wh ore making him a 'better' and more 'loyal' supporter than us. I think he and Ultra share the dummy. When one is spouting cr ap, the other sucks the dummy. Then they swap.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 I think considering we were without our best defender and arguably our best midfielder and best striker also, getting a point away against a team second in the league was a good result and Kelly was entitled to be pleased with it. I didn't go so I don't know what the performance was like but it didn't sound like we were steamrollered. He also deserves praise for selecting Logan and McAuley who by all accounts were two of the best players on the pitch. I don't know how bad the illness was as the club didn't mention anything about it before the game as far as I could see, maybe that's the problem.

You banged on and on and on about how much he'd done for the club and to be fair he did do a lot for the club, but his results weren't good enough. You fell for every single false dawn. You also lap up all the sh it which the club serves up. Some of it is probably valid but it's like to boy who cries wolf, there's only so many 'we're working hard on the training pitch', 'we're all pulling together', 'we know its not good enough' 'we've let the fans down' and general back patting when we DO get a point going on that I can take! Is our league position good enough? Is the standard of football good enough? Is anything about the club at the moment good enough? The point is... there is only one thing that annoys me more about LCFC and their constant PR/spin machine at the moment and that's the idiots who lap it up and slag off those who see through it and want progress!! I was as critical as the next person about performances etc. Like I said earlier I just want the manager to get a fair crack at the job. I stuck up for him getting more time to prove himself one way or another, I didn't stick up for him. My posts prove it... if anyone want to try and prove me wrong the posts are there to be seen. I certainly never fell for a false dawn, give me 3 wins on the trot and I might get excited. One good performance means nothing. I couldn't agree more with the spin the club give out, i've been critical of it myself. Putting out the same stories again and again just changing the player making the comment is pretty crappy. On this occasion I think the criticism isn't deserved. There was a thread like this the other week, everyone slagging off Kelly for something they thought he said. When infact he hadn't even made the comments people were slagging off it was the mercury reporter.
