ANSWER:

There are six F's in the sentence.

A person of average intelligence finds three of them.

If you spotted four, you're above average.

If you got five, you can turn your nose at almost anybody.

If you caught six, you are a genius.

Yes, well, 3!

As I stated, I blame my injured back and leg for this outrage.

Also being totally knackered and tired doesn't halp.

More excuses? Just ask. ;)

I got 6 too - and I don't think I'm a genius or anywhere near it!

Don't be too worried if you got three, i'd say it's more about speed reading. Like when you read a book you don't actually read all the words your brain sees the first letter or two of a word, calculates the previous words and fills in the ending letter/letter without you actually finishing the whole word. Thats my excuse anyway!!

It's because when you read it quickly the brain pronounces 'of' as 'ov' so it doesn't register as an f. Apparently.

So if you think about it... those who scored less are more intelligent as their brain is capable of filling in the gaps without reading the whole word, while the higher scorers brains can't hence they see all the F's. :w00t: :D

That's not pissed, I've come to the conclusion following a 15 year study, that vodka and coke sends me wappy.

Found this reason for most people saying 6 on another site

Most of what we see is what we're trained to see. Creativity is understanding these patterns and looking for algorithms that allow you to find what you're looking for anyway. Business as usual finds three F's. A disciplined creative person finds six
