After signing Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano yesterday you think nothing could ever top that day again for West Ham.

Well its just got better they are now in ''Exploratory discussions '' over a possible takeover.

Would have been a decent bet for the hammers to win the premiership at this rate

3 minutes too late duck

I'm amazed that the two players have been touted around Europe and no one, NO ONE, took up the offer aside from West Ham.

There's something rubbish about the whole situation that simply doesn't sit right. To have a manager blissfully unaware of the move until the 11th hour sucks arse...if I were a Hammers fan I'd be slightly disconcerted today.

This provides one explanation

I don't get it...not one big European club wanted to take up the option on Tevez?

West Ham?

He's an outstanding player that will never fit into an English club because of his limited skills up top...a move to Spain or Italy would have been ideal for him...the East End ~ less so.

When alls said and done, good luck to all of them and I hope that WH give the others a good run for their money. I'm looking forward to MOTD more than I was last week! :)

I think it's basically saying that West Ham are just a "feeder club", if you will, to get them used to European football before they move on.

It happens quite a bit in Argentina/Brazil apparently.

Iranian in fact. He's the head of MSI - the group that 'owned' the two Argies they signed.

probably get some wardrobes thrown in on the deal as well then :)

It's a disaster waiting to happen.

Tevez will have arrived with a screw loose and end up having something fall off mid-game!

Interesting, particularly in the light of our recent hypothetical discussions regarding Milan Mandaric.

I can't wait to see how this all pans out for the Hammers, especially if the board do sell the family silver over to the the rather shady Kia Joorabchian and the mystery buyers.
