Leicesterboi Posted 19 May 2005 Posted 19 May 2005 Next season we will do a Preston. They finished 15th and then 5th. Thats my prediction for next term...read it and wheep because im going to sign up to the prediction league and you just wait and see my freinds!
Nationwider Posted 19 May 2005 Posted 19 May 2005 That last bit sounded vaguely sinister. Are you an evil genius? *wheeps*
connolly19 Posted 19 May 2005 Posted 19 May 2005 Leicesterboi, the only reason Preston are where they are is because of David Nugent, Richard Cresswell and Youl Mawene. 3 Top quality players that will almost surely leave in the summer. Im just sad that Leicester did not take up the oppurtunity to snap up Youl Mawene when we had the chance, he has turned out to be a revelation. However Preston do deserve to be given credit for their display and I think they will beat West Ham in the final. But yes, I would be happy if we finished in the playoffs although I am hoping for automatic promotion.

Simple as that.

That guy will be found out again if they get promoted thats for sure. If Preston got promotion there would be new records being set next season for least goals scored, least amount of points, least amount of wins etc.
lweston Posted 20 May 2005 Posted 20 May 2005 I wouldnt of thought so we need a team we havent got one at the minute and we won't do a 'pne' the person who wrote this needs to think through his posts befpe putting them on the site because he has no clue of football fact
Scow Posted 20 May 2005 Posted 20 May 2005 There will be a number of strong teams next season. Palace, Norwich, Wolves, Derby, Ipswich, PNE/West Ham, Sheffield United, Reading, and possibly Southampton. We'll do well to obtain a place in the play-offs...
shen Posted 20 May 2005 Posted 20 May 2005 Should aim for 10th, anything else is a bonus! 112118[/snapback] Aim for 10th?!... We should AIM for the playoffs at least. A position in the top 10 is the LEAST acceptable. I'm not anti-Levein, but anything below 10th and he has to go...

MON Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 It all depends on the kind of start we have. If we win most of our first 10 games then we will have a great chance of promotion: 1) Confidence will be higher 2) We will get bigger attendences thus more atmosphere at home and make it harder for opposition teams at the walkers. 3) The fans will not get on the backs of Levein, like they did with Adams.
john_lcfc Posted 21 May 2005 Posted 21 May 2005 i think we will have a better season next year especially if we get behind the lads...
lweston Posted 22 May 2005 Posted 22 May 2005 before i go shooting my mouth off pne are a much better well organised teamthan city if we do what they have done we will need a miracle
