  1. I like him, looks a very clever player, and getting better the more he plays.
  2. Wow, I thought he was good today, and we should have kept him on. Just shows how people see the games differently.
  3. Indeed! The one thing I can confirm after 50 years of going down the City, is that apart from a brief few years in the mid 2000s, following the City has never been boring! As a club we simply don't appear to do boring, and long may it be so!!
  4. He had better take a break from watching us then, while Enzo is manager, because it don't matter who we have in goal, we will continue to play that way while Enzo is here.
  5. KDH was utter dog poo today. Such an annoying player. Gives us so much in terms of energy, and we miss that when he doesn't play, but his decision making, and often delaying of a pass is doing my head in!
  6. I know what you mean and you're right, but in truth, there are very few goals in any game that are scored that couldn't have been prevented, whether it be, giving the ball away, not tracking a run, not closing down, a goalkeeper error, or giving the goalscorer too much time and space, which could have been said about Liverpools first goal. If all teams defended perfectly, there would be hardly any goals scored, and practically no one would be bothered to watch.
  7. Did Ahmed even turn a ball this season! Majorly disappointed with his bowling this season, felt like he regressed to me. His batting was half decent at times, although he usually got himself out playing a ridiculous shot, but his batting was what juat about kept him deserving of a place in the team, in my opinion. Needs to improve his bowling though. I almost wonder if England have got hold of him, and started to coach the natural ability out of him! Still very young though, so plenty of time to fulfil his undoubted potential.
  8. Or we could rehash the old Kisnorbo song. Woah jannik woah Woah jannik woah We used to think he was shite But now we think he's alright!
  9. Well given he was at Man City you would think he would be use to flat atmospheres.
  10. Only if they bent the lines. My first thought was that it might be offside, but when i saw the replay he was clearly on. KDH knew when to pass.
  11. No, he was behind the ball when KDH played it to him, so clearly onside. Even VAR couldnt have ruled that out.
  12. Honestly think he is far more suited to playing as an 8, but he has excelled my expectations of him so far, so all power to him. Well done Kasey
  13. Arrh, yes but the media will have you believe it was purely down to everybody else being crap, and Tottenham gifting us the league title that they should have won. Nothing to do with us having the likes of Kante, Vardy and Mahrez. All of who have gone on to prove themselves elite premier league players. Just mentioning those three, also doesn't do justice to the likes of Morgan and Huth, Fuchs and Simpson, Albrighton, Drinkwater, Okazaki, kasper, and even the contributions of Ulloa with his last minute winner against Norwich, and his last minute pen against West Ham. We were truly fantastic, and a joy to watch, and that wasnt down to luck. The media will have you believe it was nothing to do with us being utterly brilliant that season. We only lost 3 league games, and only to 2 teams. The Arsenal away one being to the last kick/header of the game. The season wasn't just astonishing because "little old Leicester" won it. It was astonishing because we fully deserved to win it, playing in an exciting manner, with some terrific football at times too. Its sad, but the further away we get from that season, the more the media narrative is changing to it just being a fluke, and the less credit we are getting for that season. In the end it doesn't matter though, because those of us fortunate enough to witness that season, know the truth, and no rewrite of that season from the media can change that from us that were there.
  14. Possibly, but also possibly poor or inflexible management, trying to shoehorn a player into a position he hasn't played, or if he has, isn't comfortable in. Square pegs into round holes and all that. Something Enzo seems to resort too, in order to play his system, even if he doesn't currently have the players he would like to have, to play in that system. For him it's all about his system, and hoping he can make it work, even if that means hammering in those square pegs into the round holes.
