Got to refuel it a few weeks ago!

Apparently he's taken up dodgeball...
-
Still putting in some good performances:
-
Not that it detracted from the day, as I enjoyed the whole thing thoroughly, and Kasabian themselves were excellent, but having just spent 4 days at Download Festival, without witnessing a single ounce of trouble, it does make you wonder why some people can't last three songs before having to get into a scrap (as I saw between about 5/6 idiots right next to me). Is it that difficult to just enjoy the music?
-
Forgot about the Blackburn game, but yeah, probably that. For those that haven't seen it:
-
Perhaps he was worried about home-sickness and they added that to the offer to persuade him?

Download Festival tomorrow! Today (especially work) is gonna drag...

One piece of anecdotal evidence isn't the basis for an entire argument. However, if it is, then I can take my own personal experiences of weed and tell you that casual use won't turn you into a dribbling vegetable who can't function in society, nor would my use increase should it be legalised. I've only ever smoked it occasionally in a social setting where it's been offered to me, and I can't ever see myself going out of my way to get some, legal or not.
-
Of course they are. Where else would you get those drugs?
-
To answer my own question, yes, you could. https://www.uktradeinfo.com/Statistics/Pages/TaxAndDutybulletins.aspx Total alcohol revenue: £10,219m (£10.2bn) http://www.ifs.org.uk/bns/bn09.pdf Total alcohol revenue: £10.6bn, total tobacco revenue: £9.8bn http://www.nta.nhs.uk/uploads/alcoholcommentary2013final.pdf http://www.ash.org.uk/files/documents/ASH_694.pdf Total cost of smoking: £2.7bn http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/8086142.stm Perhaps as high as £5bn So yeah, there's no real valid argument against legalisation from a purely financial standpoint, seeing as the tax revenue generated far outweighs the total cost to the NHS.
-
If it already costs the NHS millions of pounds a year then couldn't you argue that the tax revenue from legalised cannabis would help to reduce the overall costs?
-
Dortmund 2-1, £5 returns £75 Bet365 offering a free in-play bet if you stick one on before hand then an in-play bet later on. Think I'll whack one on Dortmund to win (7/2 currently) and Müller FGS (6/1).
-
Schmeichel's gonna do it in the last minute of the play-off final
-
Man Utd Stoke/West Ham draw Swansea Watford Fiver at approx 20/1.
-
Gone for Palace, Hull, Watford and Boro to all win at 28/1. Don't really think it'll happen but if any of them drop points then I'll still be happy!
-
So do you trust government opinions or not?

Any less employable than an alcoholic?

I swear MooseBreath just has arguments with himself.

I can only hope the people who get on their high horse about others' drug habits have led a fully drug free life - be it from heroin or ibuprofen.
-
Fair point, but at the same time, you wouldn't justify making Paracetamol illegal by saying "look how fu/cked up these heroin users are". All drugs can be dangerous, but there are different levels of danger.
