  1. Ive just moved to Ashby recently, from Peterborough. Season Ticket holder for many years Used to come in from Peterborough for 20yrs+ - on the train for daytime Saturday matches to meet LCFC supporting friends/family pre-game - in the car along the A47 for night matches. Theres always more traffic than usual comes in from that way (and back) on those Leicester evening matches, so decent support from that way. As for Ashby ...... I made contact with someone connected with Coalville and Ashby Supporters Coaches, with a view to getting the Supporters Coach in with them on all night Home matches, and maybe some daytime ones too - as the bus service from Ashby into Leicester is shocking - about 1 hour 40 minutes each way minimum, and - last bus back to Ashby on a Saturday leaves St Margarets is 5.25pm - meaning a jog back from the King Power - or you miss the bus - for a 3pm kick-off. Was told that Coalville and Ashby Supporters Coaches for HOME games start from Coalville now (they no longer go to Ashby at all for those) - they only come here on AWAY fixtures. So thats two reasons why Ashby may get dislocated from LCFC and the KP stadium * you cant get in by public transport (and back) for anything apart from a 12.30am Saturday Kick-Off * you cant use the Coalville and Ashby Supporters Coaches unless you drive to Coalville - (may as well just drive to Leicester, or a better connected village/town bus route in the County, like Desford, Newbold Verdon etc) where we have family. So until public transport into Leicester includes a quicker bus route - or until the Supporters Coaches come back to Ashby (not just Coalville) - then the chance of increasing support for our club out here, is very limited.
  2. I've never got the point of the Premier League being pissed off with us for the PSR Court Case following us being Relegated and "avoiding sanction". Surely the bigger, much bigger, point is we were Relegated and that's the flippin' ultimate sanction!!! Not 2, 4 or 6pts deducted, we were already Relegated. We didn't duck the system, we left the League by the ultimate self-sanction of being financially useless at the same time as being useless on the pitch. Their rule book just needs amending to say - if Relegated and suffering immediate self harm financially from that, then no point at all sanctioning you further - ON TOP OF THIS. You've done this to yourselves worse than we would've done it to you. Bizarre this ever wasn't a simple solution of points deduction - If not already relegated
  3. It's a pity we can't all go and watch the U21s and bin off the 1st team, for the rest of the season. How many can get in to watch their games? They're our future They've turned their season around with 6 League wins on the trot Got the top scorer in the League with 10 goals in 13 games 2pts off 4th now, in a League with 26 teams. But RVN seems to want to ignore the obvious and play some of these youngsters, and save them for another season. When he is creating new records every week of goal-less, soul-less games, with no tactics, no goals, very few efforts at crossing the halfway line ......and he seems to be getting away without mass crowd reaction, in-game, to all this. (apart from those leaving early, in silent protest) Any other manager who got halfway this bad, would've got way more stick than he's getting during games, before games and after games. I'd have expected choruses of F@ck Off Van Nistelroy F@ck Off Van Nistelroy To have been heard match after match by now.
  4. Expected goals ultra low again tonight. One shot all game (early on) Expected Goals 0.02 So the equivalent of an expectation playing like that, we will score 1 goal in 50 games 🙈
  5. Email sent to Jim at LCFC after his short justification of cost email to me this morning, where hes saying I dont need to pay, its not Compulsory, I can use a phone Jim That's not the point is it? - and you know it It's Compulsory if you want to keep your card. I work for a Bank, who give their customers Debit Cards and Credit Cards for Free. A new one for Free If you lose one, too. They work perfectly well all over the country, all over the world actually. Not just in one place, at a turnstile, in Leicester. ...and most importantly those Cards are for up to 5 years these days. Not thrown away because they make them obsolete after a year, like Leicester City. So if a Plastic Card can be used so well, and for so long, without replacement. ......do you want me to put to our Board that we start charging £25 a Card, to everyone under 65yo? ...or £25 a Year for every Card we provide to a Customer? How do you think I'd sound, with my employer, if I did that? .....and told them that its the future, everyone can just use their phones to pay for everything now...we shouldn't be giving them Cards anymore. ● But if they want one they can pay for it. ● If they lose one they can pay for it ● we can make them obsolete too, after a year and make them pay for a new one How do you think the Board of that Bank would take my idea? They'd tell me I am an idiot. Customers come first. If you mistreat them in this way, they will go elsewhere So..... Back to Leicester City, and their position It appears, ● because fans have nowhere else to go ● because this is our club That some faceless people currently employed by our club. Think they can do what they like to us. Well, I'd say, think again. Not for the first time, recently they've not read the room at all. ...and in the middle of a celebratory period we are having conversations like these, where faceless club employees pick on their customers with misguided ideas again. Shame on these people, and in those that seek to justify it to the fans of Leicester. You're out on you own with this one yet again, living in a vacuum.
  6. Part of the wage increases listed in these 22/23 Accounts would probably be Rodgers and his coaching staff getting paid off (full 12 months each?) on top of what they earned from 1st June 2022 around to their sacking 10 months later. Wasn't Rodgers getting paid more than any player? Some madness wage someone dreamt up when Arsenal were looking for a Manager 3 years ago, and we bumped up his pay to rival the Greedy 6s wages for Managers. Wasn't it one of the biggest wages in the Prem? Hopefully we see the full set of accounts this week with more info.
