Try this one. We are expected to keep it up due to where we came from. They are expected to do the opposite for the same reason. For Ipswich to continue in the same form is akin to when we won the Premier, unexpected completely to the point of being unlikely. Even we can't belelieve it happened. They will have as much trepidation as we did when we won the Premier league. Us, expected and expect to continue. You don't like it, but it isnthe general consensus. And for a reason. These things just don't happen. Did it really happen? Did we actually win the Premier league. The answer is of course **** yeah, we did. But i still can't believe it and do not expect to so it ever again. Certainly not like that

I get this and understand the last th8ng we want is to turn into entitled fans, BUT... I genuinely think this season will set us up for the Premier league and hopefully we get so much possession and beat so many low blocks, high presses etc that we are so comfortable on the ball that our style will work against all but the best next season. (A la Liverpool) I genuinely.am getting bored, ilif this is what being as successful as man City is all about (doing it the way they did it) I don't want it. To know that on your day you can beat anyone in the league comfortably and you need to have an off day while they play out of their skins, that your players and also half your bench would walk into 90% of the teams you are facing week in week out. I genuinely believe we are a mid table prem side as things stand, and that's before improving and the next 2 transfer windows. Just enjoying the progression, it's all that's left. We will only beat ourselves this season in the league.

No way on god's green earth did rudkin decide whether he is the right player for us long term and hiw long we wanted to keep him for. Enzo will know in broad brush terms how many pound notes he has to spend on what areas, wages, fees etc, what he needed to sell, and would have decided if he is worth keeping around and for how long m, depending on what it costs. The only way this gets to rudkin for a decision Is if the scouting/stats depth decide it is worth a punt to get a fee but imo this was Enzo's decision whether its a yay or a nay and shirt/medium/long term and rudkin just sees whether it can be done according to a budget. He clearly rates him enough to want him around, as he is an active player in the team that is tearing the league a few new arseholes.

I agree with this but will say there have been a few **** ups at the back,even Saturday but the "putting their bodies on the line/busting a gut" defending has improved massively so can still see both sides. Think our **** ups should have led to more goals but ultimately championship attacks just ain't good enough to capitalise before we recover the ball through sheer power of will. I think we'll be fine but the great thing is just how much improvement is still to come which leaves me feeling slightly more optimistic after promotion compared to say Burnley season so far.

After the previous round of games I noticed Southampton were 10th, or joint 4th excluding goal difference! This is a well competitive league (🤣🫣)

It feels like they pretty much all are this season. Last match I was surprised we found the breakthrough as early as we did. It's just nice to trust that we will find a way eventually. The panic has gone all round.

I always understood it that foreign players etc are OK in the glitz of the Premier league but can they handle a shithole on a cold dark evening. Stoke certainly fits that one. I like to think of them as scousers, but even more scummy.
