Mad to think we've gone from winning the Premier league, spending a period as a European team to two relegations and now hoping for a mid table championship finish. Our demise is criminal and a total utter embarrassment. Top should be absolutely ashamed of himself.

As I said in the manager thread earlier I think the massive problem we have is the apparent lack of competition in the squad. Generally, the same players will be favoured, regardless of their form. We seem to have a culture where players are confident of keeping their place, whether they put 60% effort in or 100%. They are far too comfortable just coasting around the pitch when actually they need a rocket up their arse. We have a seriously frustrating level of arrogance and lack of desire right through our squad (bar a a few players). We seriously lack leaders.

I mean if youve got two legs, an IQ of 4 and half decent eyesight, I'd say youre probably right.

Its a sorry state of affairs when we have to sell any promising talent we have so that we can keep these absolute wasters on stupid contracts. We are literally going to end up in the abyss.

Arguably getting relegated is a bigger loss than just taking whatever punishment they threw at us if we'd invested to stay up. Not just money from the Premier league, but exposure and interest from a much bigger foreign fanbase is worth a shit tonne.

Being in a position where you are breaching financial fair play, having sold your decent players and invested in nobody worthwhile in several years is mind blowing.

Alot of people assumed the club gave him the boot after the Vardy/Rudkin thing at the victory parade. This explains it now. Nobody has ever matched him, his replacements have been shockingly bad.

Am I right in saying he walked straight down the tunnel after the game rather than applaud the fans with the rest of the team? Certainly appeared to. He'll do well to remember it was a very small proportion of fans that booed him, however loud booing always sounds. He will end up alienating everyone else if he starts being a first class c*** about it.

Think its ridiculous we are relying on Ayew at his age but you cant fault his effort and fitness levels in the second half. First half we were really, really poor. Needed some intensity. We were more direct second half and we won it, says it all.

I think you are all being incredibly ungrateful for what we have achieved. Over a number of years, we have delicately and intricately built a team of lazy, overrated and massively overpaid players and all you can do is moan. I have always found it staggering how we appear to have a segment of our fanbase that are so utterly deluded, thick, out of touch with reality...the list could go on. Managers cant do no wrong, the owners are incredible, the club are impeccable in everything they do. How can they honestly live amongst us, its frightening.

Jokes aside, its madness that Daka has been paid a Premier League / Championship salary for as long as he has. I think as a striker, its probably more forgiving than being that bad as a defender because you cant hide when the opposition is sticking 5 past you. He genuinely is terrible. Other than pace, he has the finishing and technical ability of a child.

Its like rinse and repeat with some of these players, regardless of who's in charge. Half that team still need offloading

Championship you can afford to go balls out attack and score a bucket load. You're going to concede alot but you roll with it. Premier League you'd just get annihilated
