So if you owned a car that ran like a dream for 7 years, and then spent it 2 years costing you a fortune, breaking down and being totally unreliable, you're not getting rid of it? Get real mate.
Problem is a large proportion of the home support is also on the same wavelength. I find it so surreal being in the stadium surrounded by happy clapping delusional idiots. The gulf between online opinion and the fans in the stadium is staggering.
It's a precarious position to be in for King Power. If we get relegated, theres a good chance we aren't coming back up any time soon with how the club and squad currently is. I just don't understand why Top doesn't sell something he clearly isn't interested in. I can only guess he can't stomach the thought of parting with Vichai's dream and legacy....which is a problem for us.
Probably one of the most important transfer windows ever in terms of what we desperately lacked and needed for our chance to survive in the top flight....and we monumentally ****ed it. If it wasn't so laughable, we'd by crying.
Top can try and smoke screen the fans with his grand gestures but it's ****ing immaterial when apparently it's acceptable to field this shite week in week out. We need to spend 100m to have a remotely decent team.
This really is an absolutely honking team. I will always love Vardy but this attacking front is beyond depressing. Where is the future? Its just madness.
Can't help but feel like him wiping out the debt is partly to counteract the movement thats developing against his ownership. Clueless fans from every other club will just see Leicester fans protesting against an owner that's just "cleared" £124m of debt and the attention will be diverted to how entitled we are.
Let's be honest, this is like stabbing someone and then giving them first aid straight after. Totally self inflicted this mess and now hes just wiping the debt he's caused himself through sheer incompetence. Should we be grateful?
