Both games we had to just not lose.. but both games we threw it away. 4 points lost to these cents Need a little run of wins after this to get back in to the swing of it. Mini blip I hope that's done

Vardy to bag in 2mins?
-
Get a second in the next 5 and see a nice little 2-0 out
-
Coz Don Goodman says so
-
Just don't lose! Bounce back in the next league game by battering Swansea.. but with the players out and Enzo in row Z just come away from tonight with at least a point and we're fine.
-
Especially when he could potentially have an 8 day break if left out of the FA Cup tie
-
Exactly this. Was really looking forward to this one but the time just doesn't suit my kids. Sky it is
-
Isn't ideal timing.. hoping its a way of bringing in sensi and that kdh turns out as fit. We've all seen how crap we are if at least one of wilf n kdh don't start That being said, that's not the worst lineup I've seen, although I'd swap hamza and riccy over personally
-
Yea I'd have to agree with that. Can't see anyone in the top half of the championship wanting him, so I'd imagine the max anyone below that could afford would be 8 to 10k a month, so yea we are lumbered Only chance we have of reducing the keepers is someone taking a punt on Iversen I guess, smithies isn't going to go this month either. Can't blame the lad.
-
Can't we lose him for free without breaking ffp? His initial contract against purchase has surpassed, so surely his value is zero? Or am I massively wrong? I'm aware a huge issue will be finding someone willing to match his wages. Just shows a massive lack of ambition to play and achieve anything in the game. I know it's our fault (and people would say you'd work for A over B if they're paying you more), but we're talking about someone with money set up for life... surely nows the time to take a cut and actually play?
-
Completely agree, but you don't know what pressure he was under from the then managers to offer certain contracts etc I guess
-
Part inability, part flogging a dead horse. Players we want rid of aren't exactly appealing, all flops and injury prone. Only player we could get money for imo is mcateer.. personally I wouldn't mind cashing in, but it doesn't look like the club are interested
-
This! I thought we were off the pace, but we were 2 minutes away from going in at half time one up, get an Enzo speach and we'd have killed them off 2nd half. First 10 mins of second half we had 2 great chances too didn't we. They just killed us off in the last 11 minutes once we'd ran out of steam and seemingly forgotten how to defend. I'm with you, had we been 11 aside we'd have been fine
-
This'll be the one where we get a lucky red or something in our favour Then all the other teams in the leagues fans will comment on how lucky we've been all season and that Leeds are the best team. We'll make it difficult but we will win this one
-
Plus, half the time people whine on that there is no loyalty when a player leaves they don't want to leave. Works both ways. If you're given a contract you're not likely to better, you're going to stick about aren't you.. that's the club that's made the mistake.. hopefully we will learn from it. I can see Chelsea having this issue in 2 or 3 years when they realise they have 40 players with 5 years to run on 100kplus contracts and are crap.
-
That would be Wards role
-
Now that the angers settled and its just disappointment, I do still feel Enzo got the tactics wrong after going a player down, but to be fair we created chances before and after the red. Casadei should've done better at 0-0, JJ had thr chance to pull it across goal to Cannon early in the second half and kdh was guilty of putting a stop to a 4 on 3 counter. 10 men for 45 mins, seemed to back off and let them at us but we were leading until the 79th minute. Biggest league defeat of the season against an extra man and a ref that was against us, bar the penalty, which to be fair was a pen anyway. Wheels are firmly on, hopefully roll on and get a result against Ipswich and forget yesterday's performance.
-
Ain't that terrible a day. We're still further ahead of them than before Xmas I know it puts Ipswich 7 behind us but that's still three games. We need to bounce yes but Ipswich winning will dampen Southampton and Leeds spirit after big wins for them more than it does anything to us. We'll beat Ipswich a week Monday
-
Snap
-
14 points behind. We're OK Southampton are the ones to keep an eye on and even they're 10 behind at the moment
-
I agree with the routine but I think the quality was lacking and they were more up for it. That's all. Regardless.. I can't see them making the play offs. They're on a decent run but they aren't as good as Sunderland or West brom I don't think. Got talked up at full-time but they had an extra man for 45 minutes and we seemed to switch off/back off towards the end. On to Ipswich at home now
-
Would be ideal to get it done ASAP, wilf leaves a big hole to fill. Hopefully the quality this guy has makes up for the physical side we lose with wilf being out . When I heard wilf was out of the afcon due to injury I hoped it'd be 2 or 3 weeks and we'd have him back sooner than we would have, then delighted that Abdul missed out. Funny old game, may as well have both gone now 🤣
-
Sounds a decent bet, considering Edinburgh FC kicked off at 40/1 and are 2 up. Just had my lad moaning at me because I said I'd put a fiver on it as a joke and he believed me 🙄 But yea I've just checked the match stats . They're battering wednesday aren't they
-
Yea. Soton have a couple favourable games coming up so would be nice to dent their momentum
-
They have a couple of tough(ish) away games at Bristol and West Brom next months, agree they'll drop some soon. Sheffield Wednesday are capable of nicking an equaliser
