  1. Leicester City are ready to push ahead with a January move for New York City FC forward Jack Harrison. The 21-year-old has been impressing in the MLS and recently made his debut for the England Under-21 side. Harrison originally spent seven years at Manchester United before moving to America when he was 14. The youngster has begun to fulfil his potential across the Atlantic and has emerged as one of England’s brightest young stars, having bagged ten goals so far this season. That form has sparked interest from Brighton, Everton and Leicester in Harrison, who is reportedly valued at £6m. Manchester City have also been linked with the youngster and the Blues reportedly have first refusal of Harrison due to the Premier League side’s ‘sister-club’ relationship with the MLS outfit. But, according to Calciomercato, it is the Foxes who are pushing ahead with a January move for the New York City star. The club are desperate to beat their rivals to his signature and are hoping to sneak ahead of them with a bid in the next transfer window. 2. Someone in Chang Mai told me this guy was a witness to the incident with NP's son a couple of years back. Apparently he's threatened to go to the Bangkok Times with the 'real' story (involves Lady Boys and a spicy red Thai curry) unless we give him game time

  4. Bristol City are desperately trying to tie down midfield ace Bobby Reid to a new long-term deal amid interest from four clubs, sources have told TEAMtalk. The 24-year-old has started the season in spectacular fashion with eight goals in 16 games. His current contract expires at the end of the season, although City have a 12-month option on him. But City – like Reid- are aware of the increasing interest in the player, who has come through the ranks at Ashton Gate. Leicester, Brighton, Burnley and Middlesbrough are all taking a close look at his situation and could make a move when the transfer window reopens in January should the midfielder not cement his future to the Championship’s surprise package this season.
  5. Leicester star ‘wants to leave this winter’, fed up of sitting on the bench By Tom Coast -7th November 2017 Once again left on the bench at Leicester City, it seems Islam Slimani has had enough of his situation at King Power Stadium. A week or so ago, the talk coming out of the Algerian press suggested the striker was ‘seriously thinking about leaving’, but things haven’t improved and now he wants out. This is what L’Expression are saying on Tuesday, not holding back with their article headline ‘Islam Slimani wants to leave this winter’. Back with his national team after being left out during the last international break, the 29-year-old will be looking forward to getting some game time under his belt since he isn’t getting any under Claude Puel. With both Crystal Palace in the Premier League and Rennes in Ligue 1 said to be interested in his services, Slimani could have an exit route already planned. The problem is, will Leicester want to let him go, and if they do, will they allow it be on loan, as the French side certainly do not have the financial power to help the Foxes recoup their initial expenditure. One to follow over the coming months
  6. come on Rudders if you are going to post on this forum at least get the grammar right!

  8. Ah yes ..... "lies, damn lies, and statistics" It takes into account our current manager's tactic, the form of some of our senior players and my growing frustration!!! I hope you are right but at the minute it does feel right to be talking about a top 8 finish
  9. I posted this in another topic thought I would post it here too... Still think we will finish in 8th place???? From BBC Website under the title "Bournemouth and Leicester's woes - the stats" Leicester City have earned just five points from seven games so far this season, their joint-lowest return at this stage of a Premier League campaign alongside 1994-95, 2001-02 and 2003-04. In 94-95 we were relegated 21 Leicester City (R) 42 6 11 25 45 80 −35 29 In 2001-02 we were relegated 20 Leicester City (R) 38 5 13 20 30 64 −34 28 In 2003-04 we were relegated 18 Leicester City !Leicester City (R) 38 6 15 17 48 65 −17 33

  12. Hi What would you do? I will be in Leicester for a week with my elderly Dad over Christmas. He's been a LCFC supporter since 50s .... me since 80's. He lives in Australia.... me Qatar. The last time I saw a game live was 2003/04 season ..... him when Frank Worthington was banging them in and Keith Weller was wearing tights. When we are there we have the possibility to see one of two games either LCFC v LFC away on 30 December or LCFC v Huddersfield home on 1 Jan. Which one would we have the best chance of seeing? Neither or us have LCFC memberships. There are plenty of websites that sell LFC tickets (although none on sale for that game yet) so there is a chance (not sure how much of a chance though and at what cost) there but it means sitting with scousers. We could also purchase LFC memberships to see if we could get a ticket for just that game not sure though whether a membership would guarantee a ticket. We could pay 60 quid each to get LCFC memberships but again I don't know what chance that would give us for getting home game tickets. Any advice appreciated. Cheers Stephen
