I've no idea what or who you're reacting to but that post is quite amusing.

I've stumbled across Panorama documentary series from 1965. It's fascinating. The interviews between mods and rockers, the prediction of AI, the prediction of silicon Valley. space exploration. The polaris computer system brought about so much development in so many areas of science. Seeing the development and predicted possibilities that have come to be real is amazing.

That in itself doesn't bode well for his future here. That's probably already irked the clueless duo.

I always thought he was a no nonsense, uncomplicated, dedicated player in our defence back then. Hopefully what he said in his interview will bring a better team with more understanding of the way he wants them to play. The formation he chooses will be key IMO.

I think the only sphere of work that can't be taken over by AI is those that need physical skill such as the skilled trades we already have, builders, plumbers, sparkys etc. (Paramedics ) They will always be in demand.

Having been a member of FT for nearly16 years and seen posters come and go and read through the many topics that have also disappeared, some remain, some are fleeting, I have come to the conclusion that the majority of posters here are intelligent, informed and clever about many things non-football related as well as those things that are.
