  1. Could this be the one? Fingers crossed!
  2. FW Leonardo Ulloa, 7 -- You can't knock the Argentine's tally of 11 Premier League goals, even though five of them came in the opening five games. Leicester's £8million summer signing suffered a crisis of confidence in the middle part of the season and grappled with fatigue, too. If Ulloa can get into double figures playing average, imagine what he can do next season if he hits his peak. http://www.espnfc.com/club/leicester-city/375/blog/post/2461516/esteban-cambiasso-the-star-as-leicester-secure-survival I'm assuming this is the same Ben Jacobs who yesterday said Ulloa was a "Flop'...... apparently if you rewind 24 hours you can knock the Argentine's tally of 11 Premier League goals!
  3. Do we all live in a Blue and Gold Kop next season?
  4. http://www.espnfc.com/club/leicester-city/375/blog/post/2465966/leicester-city-end-season-in-festive-style-versus-qpr#/club/leicester-city/375/blog/post/2443891/leicester-report-card-pearson-orchestrates-great-escape?&_suid=143264211610903467269048305509 Ulloa a flop?? I think not.
  5. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3096026/Premier-League-2014-15-season-review-Leicester-City-make-brilliant-escape-relegation-entertaining-season.html Daily Mail review of the season.
  6. Richard Cockerill, the Leicester director of rugby, added: “People come from all over the world and they’ve heard of Welford Road. I’m not sure that they have heard of the King Power.” From this article about poor Rugby WC ticket sales at the KP. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/rugby-world-cup/11623008/Why-Leicester-the-biggest-rugby-city-in-England-has-fallen-out-of-love-with-the-Rugby-World-Cup.html He may have an argument in some of the major rugby playing nations, but in the rest of the world, I think not.
  7. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leicester-city/11612813/Leicester-close-in-on-6m-bonus-but-need-to-beat-QPR-to-guarantee-extra-million.html A bit of an incentive to go for the win on Sunday
  8. Turned off after 30 minutes. Dull!
  9. One True Geordie nominates Nige as his manager of the year......kind of......if Tim Sherwood and the Villa fail to win the FA Cup. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2oUacxGm4U
  10. Probably a good idea to make some sort of announcement at the Chelsea game, just to give a bit of notice.
  11. It's getting better. Frog Island could do with a revamp, but it's getting there. Every city has good and bad areas.
  12. Unfortunately we're now the small fish in a big pond. These pundits are only concerned with what is happening in London and the North West, there is an occasional nod towards the North East when Newcastle are self destructing again but the rest of the division is pretty much non existant to them. Every day Talksport must do a "Lets Talk to *Insert Name of Ex Player about * Insert name of Top Six Team". I have certain reservations about some positions in the squad but I see enough pace with Knocaert, Mahrez, De Laet and Schlupp to give some teams real trouble. We're a relatively young squad and its only going to improve by having another close season together.
  13. http://talksport.com/football/super-computer-predicts-final-pl-table-champions-top-four-and-relegation-revealed I'm going with the TalkSport (TalkLondon/North West/North East) super computer prediction of 15th!!
  14. I agree, if you take a step back and look at us from a neutrals point of view then we haven't got a lot to signify anything other than a relegation battle. We have a team of young untried players, cast offs from PL teams and players who when they had a chance at the PL didn't quite crack it. We haven't gone crazy with the cheque book in the close season, on paper it doesn't look great. I understand where they are coming form and they may be right but I hope we get the chance to give them the proverbial finger!
