  1. This is the problem with all the rule and regulations with PSR, everything takes too long, leaves uncertainty. I thought that could be the case in terms of a manager, but things could be all set up even if not announced. But it doesn't help the fans at all. Not that we matter do we?
  2. Bookies odds are about who has placed bets really.
  3. This is also very true. As much as I don't want this to be true but I think it'll be July befor we know much more, I don't think we want RVN payments on this years accounts.
  4. Also Enzo didn't leave until 3rd I believe too. I think more will happen when we are officially a championship club, but don't be surprised if its next financial year.
  5. Brilliant, thanks for the insight. On the face of it people see Dyche as a Pearson type but in reality he isn't. Pearson(not just him as he hasn't quite been as good anywhere else), brought a lot of innovative stuff in to the club. To be fair to big Sam stuff that Nigel picked up whilst working with him. (earlier Big Sam career) He comes across worse on Stick to football than he does with Lineker. Though I think most people do, as they are all a bit more abrasive than Gary.
  6. Going full Sunderland?
  7. Agree its screams no plan again. But is this true? Or is it just based on what he’s had at his disposal? Im not saying it isn’t true, just wondering.
  8. I do, I think he has wanted our job for a while, even when we appointed Puel. We are local for him He is mates with Rudkin We are a big club despite the turmoil He'll see it as a big chance to prove himself and build something again
  9. If the club go for Dyche, the club see it as a Nige type appointment. Also might be they released martins name to offset this appointment.
  10. Who you want? Or something you’ve heard?
  11. I don't think they can be truly ghosting RVN, surely not.
  12. Seems speculative based on his comments at the weekend. If it is still the case it is an absolutely ridiculous that they haven't told him.
  13. Listened to when your smiling last night. Dean hammond spoke well but defended the owner/board. Main reason for me mentioning, there was one long voice note from someone(who's name I can't recall) that was brilliant and well worth a listen just for that. Summed up most of the opinions on here perfectly.
  14. I'd be very very surprised if we got as many as 12 point. Most of the punishment dealt out with PSR has ultimately not really impacted the outcome of a season for teams. If it were to do so, I think its where PSR becomes anti competition. Might be that they want to make an example of us, but I think it will be around 6 points.
  15. Might be a case of every little helps.
  16. Yep I always hope for a trip to the “brewers”
  17. His stats were pretty good in the championship to be fair last year but 31 years old isn't really forward thinking signing. Why would the manager rumour be accurate but not the player?
  18. My Guess would be Danny Ings.
  19. Its not £5million to a championship club I don't think.
  20. Just saw Enzo talking, what a shame we didn’t get a season with him this year.
  21. Oh yeah definitely, I’m clinging to blind hope.
  22. Well many people in 1996 wanted Martin O'neill to be sacked, People said Vardy wasn't good enough, Some people didn't Like big Nige. On the whole you are right, but fans aren't always right.
  23. I hope we are all wrong. I hope Russell is here for 3/4 years and leaves us in a better place. I can't see it, but hope we are all wrong.
  24. I agree to some extent, however the majority of the team that played possession football under Enzo are still around. Playing possession football in the Prem is different to playing in the Championship. I think if its Martin you may see Winks back in the fold(assuming the bridges aren't completely burnt),Maybe even Vestergaard, who were key in the promotion season. The big issue between the coming season and the Enzo season we had KDH, not sure who will be that player next year. Also despite his faults, Wilf was so key in the promotions season. I'm resigned to it being RM, not happy, just resigned to the fact it seems to be happening.
  25. Thanks for your insight. It’s every thing I’m worried about. Interviews need to be taken with a pinch of salt as Ruud gave a brilliant interview with G Nev before he took our job. Im just hoping he has shown some growth or ability to adapt.
