Tbf, they posed us a few problems down our left. I didn't think they were too bad. However, once we scored, we were a joy to watch & Preston were chasing shadows.

Having no VAR is in The Championship is so good. The ability to be able to celebrate a goal instantly is brilliant & so it should be. Instant ecstasy. One glance at the ref’s assistant & we know it’s a goal or not. Simple. Until they simplify VAR, communicate the decision, erase the grey areas, it will continue to fail regularly. Rugby Union seems to have sorted it, and that is probably a more complicated sport.

Most teams that visit us will park the bus, low block, depriving us of any space in behind. Is it possibly better to have Vardy coming on for the last 25 if needed ? Save him for the away games, in the main.

I was told that the leagues set the admission prices. This was on fairly good authority, referring to last season anyway. An ex Stamford player to be exact told me this was the case.

Probably every team will have a player that fans view as similar, whether it be a player like Winks, a striker, a defensive rock or a talisman. 46 games is such a long season, luck will come into it, as will possibly picking the odd game to rest 'important' players.
