It's definitely a mix that follow Harborough, not just City fans. I got chatting to a Chelsea fan a few weeks ago. He moved into the town from London a few years ago. As others have said, a lot are fed up with being ripped off & being treated as customers at City, or similar clubs.

I'm sure their bank balance numbs most of the pain.

We are a circus ran by clowns. This is common knowledge. We are not going to attract much better. Until we have a change at the top, we are shopping in Poundland.

Sandro on the bench for Harborough Town today.
-
Stratford play their game in hand tomorrow. Makes sense really, season needs to finish on the same day, if possible.
-
.......Now, I'm no Sherlock Holmes, but I'm guessing you like a bit of non league football !?
-
Maybe we want to get someone to agree to replacing RVN first, before announcing he's 'left by mutual agreement'. This next appointment is important. Time isn't too crucial really, as long as the new manager gets a whole pre-season & transfer window.

Dyche would be ok. Just ok, which is far better than we've been dished up this season. Some are forgetting how far we have fallen. We are absolutely rudderless, gutless & have no identity. Nothing could be worse than we've witnessed this campaign.

Looks odds on for Harborough v Kettering in the play-offs. Bedford should win it, Harborough should finish 5th (what could go wrong !?)
-
It isn't that simple though, unless they're out of contract. Ward & Vardy are. Any others ? (I've lost interest as the season has gone on !)

Sri Lanka seemed to get lots of positives a few pages back. I'm going next Jan/Feb for a bit of cricket. Elephants there too !

This is exactly what l fined absolutely baffling, there's just no accountability. Jobs for the boys. Dreadful from the top, that's seeped through the whole club. Shameful. -
Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)

Do you think it's legitimate ? If he has a birth certificate, then fair enough. Seems dubious to me though. -
1-0 win for Harborough at Redditch earlier. Back in the playoffs. Stamford play tomorrow & have a v tough run in. All to play for.
-
I rarely listen to the comms, it's just background noise, whether it's great or average, it doesn't spoil my viewing. If ex-players are involved, what do we expect ? Some are bound to go OTT, no problem for me at all.

Turn left at the roundabout (HTFC is the right turn) there's a new housing estate taking shape. Plenty of space there. You have my permission, as l live there !!
-
I've never been, but l know 2 or 3 that have visited twice & love it. Definitely on my list.

100+ flying in from Spain to watch Harborough on Saturday. Apparently the club have a sister club/links with a side from there.
-
He’s too arrogant to do that. I’m amazed he gets picked for Belgium. Awful professional.
-
They need to boost their GD. No chance they ease off.
-
Some at the club think another season in this division wouldn't be a bad thing. l was also told promotion would mean another chunk of money spent on a facility upgrade, probably more on wages & new players. The club can probably afford it, but l understand the ramifications. Personally l would just go for it & take whatever comes !

Harborough’s remaining 4 games are far easier on paper than those above……most of them play each other. I fully expect HT to make the play-offs. They’ve only lost once since Boxing Day, so will be tough to beat & have an excellent record against the ‘better’ sides. We will see.

Not tonight. We were away at Saints

Question to a dead relative/friend. Ask it here.
STEVIE B replied to Free Falling Foxes's topic in General Chat
A relative going back generations was a highwayman. He operated around the Wigston/Leicester area. He was hung eventually in the 1800's........would have been an interesting few questions ! Anyway, George Davenport was his name.
