  1. The last thing we need is to be bought by Musk who would use the club as a legal means to funnel money into his dream oligarchy party. If Musk bought LCFC I would stop supporting us the same day.
  2. Genuinely curious case this one, why? why is he not camped outside of Tops office screaming about this? Seems to me like he's happy with the staff and doesn't want to bring in his own.
  3. RB Leicester, I really don't care anymore.
  4. I think we would be hovering around the bottom 3. I think he's been massively overrated at Chelsea this season too, has he improved Chelsea? yes, even most people who wanted him out admitted they wanted him out because his football just can't work with our players without spending 150m+ on quality, I fully expected him to improve Chelsea, and he's now without a win in 5 with one of the biggest squads to choose from in the division and having spent 240m on players, and now wants to spend another 100m+ if rumours are true whilst 13 points off top. He's not as good as everyone thought he was. With that said, he can still prove me wrong over time obviously, and I will say, I fully believe if he was manager, our squad would be far better balanced and we would have signed better players, I believe he would have quickly replaced JJ as backup to Ricardo, and Kristiansen would have been moved on and replaced with a better Left Back because we know Kristiansen didn't want to play his inverted role, He likely would have signed a CB instead of Skipp considering the fact he doesn't fancy Coady. So I think we would be in a similar position trying to play Enzoball, but I think Ruud would now be inheriting a better squad than the one Cooper left.
  5. Danny Rohl 100%, I'd give him the job now, Sheffield Wednesday owner has basically told the fans last week to FOAD, said there's no money to spend, and if the fans want him out the fans are responsible for finding a buyer, Rohl would come to us, give him a free hit and he WILL build us. I also think QPR's manager Marti Cifuentes is going already doing a great job at QPR. I'd love to say stick with Ruud and give him a rebuild, but he's not showing any real promise so far.
  6. So where are we now? We know we don't have money to spend, we KNOW the team is bad, so the ONLY way we survive, is if Ruud can make the players we have play better. So when and how? And if he can't improve us to do the very basics, how can we believe he will bring us back up when we inevitably go down? He's failed to bring any sort of siege mentality to this relegation fight, nobody cares. These are some of the worst subs I've ever seen. Yes we have technically improved but have been hit with poor mistakes from the defence and poor finishing from the attackers, but have we REALLY improved that much from Cooper ball? Have we improved enough to justify going down with a whimper? I honestly feel awful, because, and I'll say it again, Ruud is one of my favourite players ever, and I really want him to get this right, but this is just awful, the subs are just completely tone-deaf, and completely bizarre, in interviews he gives absolutely zero hope and just comes across as monotone, I actually feel guilty for feeling how I do about his management skills because I've spent the best part of 20 years loving the man because of his career as a player. Someone, anyone, please reply to this and give me a decent justification why we should continue without saying "our team is bad" or "XYZ injuries" they are completely justified points, but beyond that what has significantly improved to justify getting relegated lying down like this? At some point, Ruud is either going to need to improve the majority of these players to keep us in the league, or get us back up next season. EDIT: This goes without saying, King Power OUT.
  7. I'm sorry gents, I've seen enough. I wanted to believe, I can see we are more exciting, but defensively we've collapsed, offensively we've collapsed, and these subs are some of the worst in game management I've seen. I've got absolutely nothing showing me he will be able to rebuild us in the champ, going down is a cliff edge, staying down could be a decade out of the prem. Danny Rohl in.
  8. Get this clown out and see if Nige is fit enough for a rebuild, Bilal off is all I need to see.
  9. Yeah, get this absolute clown out.
  10. Another poor defensive error from 3 players, Ruud is not absolved of responsibility either. We've somehow defensively collapsed since he came in. I hope we can turn this game around, but this is another game where Ruuds system is not giving me any hope that he can bring us up out of the Championship.
  11. He was the same last year. He made the most passes in the team if I remember rightly and about 80% of them were short sideways passes. He’s too easy to play out of the game.
  12. Regarding Rohl he could be more attainable than ever, I’m hearing from a friend that chansiri held a fans forum the other day where he basically said there’s no money to spend and if the fans want him gone they need to find a buyer 🤣
  13. Vardy's first season in the Championship he wanted to quit and Pearson and co had to talk him out of it, Cannon shows he has some qualities, he's a very raw striker, he could come good, give him a season in the championship and if he can get us 15-20 goals we can see how he gets on. We don't have money to spend especially if we go down, we will struggle to find a player who will get us 15 goals in the champ with the amount we will have to spend down there.
  14. I was under the impression we could only have 2 loan players registered in the league but can sign up to 4, so I assumed that meant Edouard was going, so can we sign a loan player from spain for example and register him even if Edouard stays?
  15. Ruud spoke about the window today and specifically mentioned looking at some loan options as well as permanent transfers, so it sounds to me like he’s confident enough that he would be leaving. Edouard clearly hasn’t worked out, I was excited when he came as I liked him at Celtic and felt that a run and some confidence we may get him back to his best, but for 90k a week he’s an expensive paper weight at the moment, best of luck to him if he goes, will score bags of goals over there.
  16. Very good point what a weird situation, I know United have basically messed him around, giving him a couple of loans after giving him a big run of first team appearances years ago, to be honest, would probably be a good shout for us. If we go down, Kristiansen will probably be off, he would be a great option at Left Back with something to prove, cheaper wages, and can cover RB when our two glass RB's inevitably shatter.
  17. Can he play RB?
  18. Starting to want him back tbh. I really like Ruud and he's one of my favourite ever players, but it feels like he's a coach. We don't have a lot to go on so I can't judge too harshly, but I haven't been given any indication so far that Ruud is a proper leader and a warrior who is going to make the team run through brick walls. Looking at players like Bouba, he's improved massively in terms of his overall output and his ball play, but I still see him constantly jogging around whilst teams walk through us, jogging back to the box like he has all the faith in the world in his back 4. Under Pearson he would be out instantly, a player like Skipp would be breaking his neck to get back to the box under Pearson, and that is exactly what we need. Ruud really needs to get these primadonnas under control, we need siege mentality and we have basically none.
  19. Modern wingers are boring to watch and rely on team structure too much. most modern wingers are coached out of their natural flair and ability to drive forward, every time I see Stephy get the ball he just can’t wait to stop and turn back, the times where he just drives forward something happens, it’s so frustrating to watch a player who has genuine ability constantly double guessing himself. Times like this we need characters who grab the ball, put their head down and run at defenders every single opportunity they get.
  20. I’m not calling for this, but does anyone know what it would roughly cost us to sack?
  21. For me I'm looking at this and trying to be balanced, the squad is awful, the squad is likely to take us down and we don't have a big budget, but Ruud isn't helping himself at times. So it comes down to a few questions imo: - Are there any managers available NOW who can keep us up? I'm not so sure with where we are in January, and managers like Moyes now in a job, and we probably would need to spend half of our transfer budget sacking Ruud. - Is Ruud doing enough to improve the players we currently have to keep us up? I don't think so. - If we do go down, is Ruud showing us that he has the managerial capacity to take us down, potentially take a points deduction, and build a foundation that can get us straight back up? I'm not sold at the moment, and right now if we are looking over our shoulder at the potential to go down, we need a manager who is building NOW, not sacking Ruud in the summer and scrambling around for someone like Danny Rohl. I can't blame him for individual mistakes, but on the things we can judge, his in-game management is iffy, the subs today were rotten, and defensively, we look just as bad as we did and are not really improving, if he is to keep us up, or god forbid take us down and rebuild he has to prove he can build, right now we are in freefall, can't score and can't defend. Vardy is done at this level unfortunately, his legs won't do what his mind wants him to do. I really want to get behind Ruud, one of my favourite footballers of all time, whenever I think of Manchester United I think of Ruud in the Vodafone shirt, and I can think of many reasons to defend him and why he has been thrown in at the deep end, but for me he just isn't proving he can make us solid. We are still in this fight, we need everyone to pull together and fight for the badge, we have too many passengers.
  22. ZERO end quality. Vardy should have a goal tonight at the very least, multiple chances wasted from our players tonight. I can't see us getting out of this mess at the moment, played so well, zero end product.
  23. Agreed, but we need a bit of bite to be honest.
