  1. Feels like every time we concede a goal it’s rarely been because of a classy opposition move, it’s 4-5 of our players falling asleep. How many times this season can an opponent be just outside or inside our box surrounded by 5 blue shirts in the box and still get a shot/cross away. what do these players need to happen to stay switched on?
  2. Sadly this is the sort of appointment we need. I do actually like Moyes even if his football isn’t the best to watch, right now we need a new foundation and stability, something that can withstand the stupidity of our board. Pearson built that originally and that foundation lasted quite a while but eventually they chipped it away. I’d take Moyes today. I think we are also in a much stronger position to attract a manager now than we were in the summer. Potter would be another. I’d love to see us take somewhat of a gamble and go for someone like Roger Schmidt or Sergio Conceicao (who we were linked with a few years ago before he went to Porto and did quite well) Niko Kovac also an interesting name.
  3. 1 game is hardly enough evidence, tonight was an off game, but we didn't play badly because he started Ricarco and Fatawu, we have played poorly in the majority of the games they started on the bench too. Imagine Ranieri benched Vardy and Mahrez every week so he could bring them on with 10 to play.
  4. And he was one of the players least to blame for those losses.
  5. I really can't understand where fans are getting this idea from that playing a weakened side for 75 mins is somehow a better strategy than purposely not playing your best players then bringing them on late? We had a poor game all around, tonight was a write off, that doesn't make Cooper right over constantly playing Ayew over Fatawu, or playing Justin over Ricardo.
  6. What? Ricardo was one of the last people most fans would blame for our demise in the premier league. He was by far one of our most consistent performers, and last season he was one of the best in the league by some distance. It's not a weird obsession with his omission, Justin has been getting absolutely traumatised week in week out. When your right back is getting picked apart every week, and you have a far better player rotting on the bench, it's only natural for people to want to see him play.
  7. But it’s the strongest 11. playing a weakened 11 so you can bring on subs is just silly.
  8. Ricardo was very rusty, but Fatawu has needed to start all season, both Kristiansen and Justin have been getting defensively smoked all season. I don’t see how switching JJ to the left was a bad choice. Even if we had Kristiansen and JJ as our 2 fullbacks, they still would have got destroyed today as they have been all season. The starting 11 was the strongest we have played this season, but this was a massive off day for everyone.
  9. Of course individual errors are not on the manager, I'm talking about the general tactical play when i refer to the direction they move, we were gutless upfront, and often positioned poorly when being attacked, that is on cooper. The individual mistakes were not on him.
  10. This. The effort of moving is on the players, the direction they move is mostly on the manager.
  11. Yeah that's fair, I wasn't sure if it was in our corner or theirs.
  12. Was Wood celebrating AT the Leicester fans or was it the away end? I know he only played 50 odd games for us, but seems really ecstatic to be scoring against us. I thought he was well liked by fans. Am I gaslighting myself?
  13. How many time is Fatawu going to make the same run, and cut in at the same location, and pass it into a player who is crowded out? that must be 7 or 8 today? Poor footballing brain.
  14. Lazy, Lethargic performance from pretty much everyone today, only a couple of exceptions, and even those are guilty of massive errors. The only 2 on the pitch that can't be blamed today are Vardy and Mads.
  15. Yep, multiple players today just look lethargic. So many occasions we've got the ball and have 3-4 blue shirts just walking about making no effort to create space.
  16. Abdul couldn't be bothered to even jog properly there.
  17. So many basic mistakes there. Okoli should never let him turn there. But for gods sake, who was worse there? Winks passing 10 yards infront of a guy who is basically walking next to him, or the lazy fatawu basically walking as we try to play it out. There is no way that Cooper is instructing this, just pure laziness and sloppiness.
  18. The performance has been okay, we've dominated the ball but often made a lot of mistakes especially on both wings. But overall, the starting 11 is a huge step forward
  19. Yeah i think positionally he's on instruction but he just looks lethargic. Every attack on his side has basically ground to a halt, the last 5 mins he's been more energetic though
  20. I don't know which of our wingers or full backs are playing worst. Honking performances all around in this half.
  21. Mavididi needs dropping next week if he continues like this. LAZY.
  22. Fatawu is pitifully easy to read today.
  23. I really hope that this performance from Ricardo isn't enough to get him dropped again, he hasn't done much at all, made multiple mistakes.
  24. Yep, if he stopped trying to use his brain and instead just put his head down and knocked it past he would be far more effective. Right now he's trying to mind game defenders and drop the shoulder and they are reading him every single time, but he is not learning.
