  1. If we can send back Edouard and organise a loan for him, then a cut price deal for him in summer if we stay up, but frustratingly it's not the position we need to focus on. If we are going to use our only loan slot, ideally we need a CB or RB
  2. Buy a RB and CB, Play Justin as a makeshift winger with a strong incentive for him to get back and defend with a new RB signing, move Faes into a CDM role and tell him to defend with his life and if he gets the ball and sees space, drive the ball forward to the attackers. We needed that result, now we need signings ASAP.
  3. Our awful defence scored 3 goals today HOW
  4. Great goal, very frustrating knowing what he can do when driving forward, to see so many issues at the back. I wonder if Faes would make a better CDM than a CB tbh.
  5. He's a huge miss, but what happens if we stay up? Mads will be gone, and the chances of us signing a goalkeeper who saves us as much as Mads is, is pretty slim, at some point the defenders and midfield covering them need to improve, as well as a few new faces.
  6. Yeah that's fair, the right would still be an issue because defensively he's not fantastic, but at least we would have an option at right wing which would allow Buonanotte or El Khannouss to come central, and a proper RB would help. I just feel like Justin attacks far better than he defends and his position is leaking us goals we need to improve the squad but Justin will still need to play a role regardless, with fatawu out i'd rather he was placed further up the pitch and allow a really strong defensive full back to slot in where he is now.
  7. Can we just play Justin as a winger?
  8. Completely agree with this, mads would have saved multiple goals we've conceded, but purely from a defensive pov from our back 4 and the midfielders protecting them, we've regressed from what I can see. To be fair, we've been so bad this season it's hard to tell how much worse/the same we are
  9. There’s just no excuse for our defending today. I know we’ve been saying for weeks that our defence isn’t prem level, but this is relegation championship defending. unless we sign an entire back 4 and CDM, Ruud is going to have to use his management and tactical skills to improve the players we have also. Defensively we’ve regressed under Ruud and that is a major cause for concern.
  10. El Khannouss has a huge ceiling. Can see him being sold on if we go down for a big profit if he keeps improving like this.
  11. Yeah he's causing us issues atm, I edited my post because I forgot he was the one who was sent to prison for hitting someone with a rock and breaking their skull, bad person, but he's better than this level as a footballer
  12. Edit: Just remembered it was Chair who was convicted, half decent footballer, bad person.
  13. I was hoping when Ruud came in we would develop an attacking edge, and basically spend our games through to January with a mentality of "we can't defend so we will outscore you". We are awful, I genuinely don't see much of an improvement, our entire attack relies on someone creating some magic or opponent mistakes. We have no blueprint after all these weeks, plenty of time to build some sort of system and we just look clueless.
  14. At the time I didn't realise how close Edwards was to it, I was actually joking that Justin had scored and own goal
  15. If anyone needs a confidence boost it's JJ. Needed that!
  16. No issue with the squad at all, we need momentum and hopefully battering a championship team could provide a bit of a boost (Incoming 2-1 loss) but the fact Ruud has gone out of his way to talk about Monga recently, surely this would be a perfect opportunity to get him on the bus and onto the bench even if he doesn't plan on playing him. And where the hell is Alves? Why does he keep being overlooked?
  17. Well Everton are now safe, I think Moyes going to Everton is another nail in our survival coffin.
  18. I miss Yuki Abe, was really sad when he left due to homesickness, he was a really hard worker. Him and obviously Shinji were well loved by fans during their time here! Hopefully if this signing is for us we will see the same work ethic and hard work on the pitch!
  19. Regarding managers that would come to us in the champ if RVN isn’t here and we go down. If our entire transfer budget is £5m I’d spend the lot buying Danny Rohl out of his contract. The job he’s doing at Wednesday is absolutely phenomenal. Serious serious talent based on his work there so far. If we go down, I hope Wednesday faulter and don’t nick a playoff place, Wednesday are only marginally a bigger circus than us and I reckon he would come. If I’m being honest I’d probably take him now.
  20. It's been a long while since I've seen owners who make such poor decisions over such a long period of time, throwing away such a golden opportunity through lack of leadership, be given so much time by the fans. KP are lucky that they own this club and not another, most fans wouldn't have given them so much grace. I still believe if Top sacked JR most fans would give him another year before calling him out again. He just doesn't seem to care, his stewardship of the club has seen the entire foundation built by his father eroded, I've never cared less about this club in my life. And it feels like the club is completely detached from the fans, I've fallen out of love with football over the years for various reasons outside of Leicester City, but it's getting to a point I really don't care if I see the game or not, really saddened to feel this way.
  21. Sadly I think you're right. One half of me says don't spend big we need to be stable if we go down, the other half says this is it, do or die, spend.
  22. If this is the case, it simply HAS to happen. Yesterday.
  23. This is the thing, we've paid a fee to take him, and presumably are covering his wages, why would palace agree to take a player back that won't play AND palace then have to start paying his wages. Utter madness from this club, this is Dejphon Chansiri levels of club ownership/DOF
