I'm hearing we are being investigated and the league are looking into the Mars Bar as its now believed it was a family pack of 3 and not a singular Mars as reported in our financial statement. The EFL never approved Leicester's sale of said Mars Bar. The buyers? a relative of King Power – the same ownership group that controls Leicester. This internal transaction allowed Leicester to recognise the profit of 19p as revenue, offsetting their operating losses. The EFL had not accepted this due to the obvious conflict: the Mars Bar essentially changed corporate entities but remained under the same umbrella. UEFA have banned such related-party transactions for years, but the EFL maintained this blind spot. So i believe.
