NHS Dentist + Student + Tax Credits = free dental care. I am dreading going next week, my teeth look nigh on perfect to look at straight on but I reckon I need at least 4 fillings amongst other things

Couldn't get into NHS one have to go private also have to pay £11.00 per month just to stay on the books!! are you going to the Genesis one in Grantham? tight gits don't even give you any anesthetic sometimes at least private I get loads and can't feel my face for hours!!
I now have an NUS Card though so discounts ahoy!! you Lincoln Uni lot don't bully the Lincoln College people do you?
-
Can't remember exactly. All I know is that they tore my trousers down and raped me silly. We're talking three figures. Dentists, in my experience, are filthily expensive.
I went the other week and the dentist goes well we will have to replace that tiny filling at the back it's only a small one so make an appointment and we will sort that out for you!!
took less than fifteen minutes to do and cost £80.00!! bargain...
-
Try not going for well over 10 years!
been there done that ended up costing me over £500!!!!

Put it in my mouth
[she said put it in her mouth]

[she said put it in her mouth]
My mutha****in mouth
Put it in my mouth
[she said put it in her mouth]
My mutha****in mouth
Well you can lick it, you can flip it, you can taste it
I'm talkin every drip-drop, don't you waste it

and I wish a nigga would
go down kinda slow or even fast
I was sprung once I feel your tongue
In the crack of my ass, yes i need a nigga
goin out like that
boy your pack is such a tasty treat
and you can eat me out
What terrible terrible lyrics it's no wonder Hip Hop, Rap, RNB whatever you want to call it gets a bad press with rubbish like this. I love a bit of Hip Hop but this is just utter rubbish

The Who - I Can See For Miles
A cracking song you gotta love The Who although my favourite songs are probably The Kids are alright, Substitute, behind blue eyes but they made some quality records!!
-
I feel the need to get a lot of things out of the way.
Vocoders
Timing belts
Alan Carr
Houses with vertical letterboxes
Items in the reduced section at supermarkets that you still consider to be too expensive for what it is
Slow drivers in fast cars
Watermelon
Sky (and their complete disdain for customer service)
Beggars who earn more in a day than I do in 4 (considering that none of their money is going to be declared earnings)
Steak and kidney lock openers
Mahmoud Ahmedinejad
The B&B I stayed at in Tenby 5 years ago
Total War - Medieval (which I faniced replaying on my PC recently and which won't play, even with the latest patchs (yes I know TW-Medieval 2)
My really noisy tumble dryer that my (profoundly deaf) wife uses -seemingly whenever I am in
The film Final Destination 2 - what next? The Last Samnurai 2? Never-ending Story 2? Oh...
All commercial radio stations, but in particular Heart FM which I have to endure at working in the morning and thus...
Sam and Amy - thanks for making me want to rip my ears off
That'll do for now. Since I mentioned Sam and Amy (Heart FM "DJs") I'm maxed on rage!

breath deep Trav!! breath deep... maybe into a paper bag!!
you seen the new Soulsavers album? looks pretty impressive Mark Lanegan, Jason Pierce, Mike Patton William Oldham, Gibby Haynes sounds like it could be brilliant

We need one in Grantham, not that I am brave enough to go into Grantham
A greggs is certainly needed in Grantham we could just borrow one of the 73 they have in Nottingham saying that probably wouldn't go in anyway, work just out of town so couldn't be bothered to drive into town just for a steak bake. but at least it would be one shop you actually might want to go in, not many of those exist in Grantham anymore
-
I just thought it was one big garden centre, or have I gone and got myself all confused again? Or is it that they are flower obsessed in Spalding.
they have added like 6 shops now and called it an outlet shopping centre
-
I love Greggs.
Subway can go sod themselves - shit American sandwiches which taste of arse.
Steak bakes everyday!
Greggs are indded legendary but do you really need one every 100m because that's what it's like in Nottingham only so many Steak Bakes you can eat in one day even if they are exceptional value for money
-
Between you both, you have killed my hopes and dreams.

yeah sorry to be the bearer of the bad news but it really is terrible you are far better just going straight up the M1 to Meadowhall or somewhere like that. Springfields is about half a dozen rubbish shops, a nice Reebok shop ( but who actually buys Reebok these days? ) a pub, Garden Centre and a Frankie and Bennys you would basically spend 2hrs driving walk around for 10mins say well this is rubbish and drive home again.
If you fancy a change just go to Nottingham, I really like Nottingham city centre although these days the only shops that seem to exist are Greggs and Subway although they do have a beach in the city centre at the minute
-
Is that the one in Spalding? If so, I wouldn't bother. A major disappointment.
agreed it really is a shocking excuse of a shopping centre, it doesn't have any shops you would really want to go in and is really not even a shopping centre
-
I started watching Watchmen last night it goes on for hours and nothing happens for ages massive disappointment having to do it in 2 sittings as couldn't bare to watch it all after about 80mins of nothing happening I decided to do something else instead.
will watch the other half later
-
on the plus side I have a long weekend off work and not back now until Tuesday!!! woo hoo!!
On the down side... it's a trip to the dentist this afternoon for some pain and discomfort at a stupidly extortionate rate
-
Is anyone gonna watch Jordan spilling her guts for all the nation to see tonight? I feel so bad for her poor kids who will go through so much stick when theyre older due to her public broadcasting sordid details which she really shouldnt.
Its a bit like a car crash I really dont wanna watch but fear I may not be able to stop myself

One one side people like Jordan because she has come from the bottom of the barrel and worked her way up from nothing.
On the other side some might see her as a terrible example of a human being, someone is so desperate for fame and fortune she will put everything up for sale, a person with little morals, no class, no talent and someone who would say or do anything just to make a few quid.
I tend to have the second point of view

Just watched Gran Torino
Not quite what I was expecting, I was expecting a more shooty beat-up-the-bad-guys film, but I've got to admit, best film I've watched in a long time.
I'm not really one for films with 'meaning' or emotion, but this one really touched me, and left me with a huge sense of injustice.
Fantastic.
I watched that last night Clint Eastwood was amazing the man even at his age of 143 or whatever it is has such a presence on screen it's almost unreal, you almost drawn into watching his every move if this is to be his last ever film as an actor then it is a fitting end to his career

Just got some presale tickets for Kasabian at Nottingham Arena in November!!

-
People who drive at like 40mph in a 60mph zone and then when it goes down to 30mph carry on at the same speed what's that all about? winds me up
-
I was about to buy 'Somers Town' on Friday lunch. But £15 for a 70 minute film? Feck off.
I enjoyed it but can't help thinking it would have been so much better in colour I mean colour film has been around for at least 60 years I guess it's "artistic" and all that nonsense but I don't really see the point maybe someone could enlighten me?
