Disarm is the most complete song from The Smashing Pumpkins, for me. Siamese Dream was a great album.
was lucky enough to see them on the tour supporting that album at Rock City with The Verve as support, bloody brilliant gig Siamese Dream was the pinnacle for me although Melon Collie had some great songs Billy Corgans Ego was getting far to big

Jay; i'm in Last Edition matey

www.myspace.com/lasteditionska
cool will give them a listen I like a bit of Ska especially The Slackers saw them at the Maze Nottingham in May and it was an amazing night what a shame they're playing in Leicester the same day you support Big D must be bloody annoying for Ska fans though a couple big names play in the same city on the same day

I used to LOVE Greenday, but gone are the days of Dookie etc - when i thought they were at their best. A lot of their new stuff, imo sound watered down, and just not Greenday - many do like it and its fair enough

Gigs i'm going to;
The King Blues - August 7th, Coventry
Big D and the Kids Table - August 11th
Mostly because my band are supporting them both

so what's the name of your band then? guess you are ska tinged by the looks of who you are supporting
-
latest to be confirmed are...
mumford and sons Rock City
Against me Rock City
NMA Rock City
Dillinger Escape Plan Rescue Rooms
The Slackers at The Donkey in Leicester
Mr Scruff at Carling Leicester is a possibility

Nice choice!
Civil war concept albums are the future!!

Pulled apart by Horses and Chickenhawk were awesome at the Bodega Social last night, something in the water in Leeds because some of the bands form there are making some serious noise at the minute.

Frankie McDowell warns California of impending earthquake
That's hilarious!!
it's probably no right to laugh at people with learning difficulties but they really shouldn't post it online

Manics coming to DMH on October 31st. I am so there, girlfriend!

Talking of Birmingham something shocked me yesterday. I watched Timothy Spall Somewhere at Sea and realised that Timothy is not a Brummie! I always thought he was.
I never see him as Timothy Spall but always see him as barrie from Auf Wiedersehen Pet

I've been there before, it's basically just a pub.
Yeah it was! seriously hot and sweaty but an excellent night was had, not a bad venue really some nice acoustics as well
-
The Slackers tonight at some place called the Maze in Nottingham only hold 210people
although almost constant checking of the phone will be in order for info from Cardiff
-
I am a patient boy, I wait, I wait, I wait, my time is water down the drain
what a band, one band I really wish would do something new

these bright sunny mornings are no good for my sleeping patterns, been awake for hours

Burning the roof of your mouth. How can something so minor be so bloody uncomfortable and irritating.

mmmm Think burnt tongue is a worse option for me, usually from the coffee cups at football grounds where you have no idea it's hotter than the sun until the damage is done!!
You end up walking around with your tongue hanging out for about 3days, not a good look

wow wow wow Mariachi El Bronx, Pulled apart by Horses and The Bronx at Rock City last night was simply stunning!!
best gig I've been to in a long long while
-
The Airborne Toxic Event - Sometime Around Midnight
what a song!!
They have released a brilliant acoustic version of the song, just a shame except for about 2or3 more songs the album is a bit disappointing
-
yes!!!
can't wait to see Mariachi el Bronx and The Bronx at Rock City in a few weeks!!
-
Sorted tickets for Andy Mckee at the Musician 28th March. Can't wait again, the guy's incredible.
is that this bloke?
that's some incredible skills

Gift of Gab from Blackalicious/The Mighty Underdogs/Solesides at rescue rooms tomorrow should be insane!!

I'll definitely be going to Leeds this year, although there are always so many bellends with the sole intention of being complete dicks that go there. But for me there are always so many bands there that I love, it's pretty much the highlight of my year. Worth the cash in my opinion.
T in the Park is also very, very tempting but I'll have to assess the costs of all that.
you should get yourself to Pukkelpop in Belgium it's many bands that appear at Reading/ Leeds and cheaper worth checking out anyway been told it's ace
-
crap...
My Car packed up again for the second time this year had to be green flagged and here was me thinking that Volkswagens were ment to be reliable motors and it's not even that old
Time for a new car me thinks
-
Reviewing Hadouken tomorrow night.
I'll get you a t-shirt Loveday.
one band along with Enter Shakiri that I really dislike!!
Hadouken to me sound like and Indie version of Scooter, the appalling german dance band or however you describe them
enjoy it anyway!!

What gigs are you going?
