Always drive home that way after the match,
I think it started When we came back from beating Derby in the Play offs, 1994.... when a load of us did a tour of the city in our decked out cars, maybe before that but this seems to be sticking in my mind....
Think after that every game we won I always beep loud n proud !! ...
Grandson has now taken to waving his scarf out the window now whilst singing '' we love you !!''
I always have a giggle about what other non city fans think if they are in the tunnel !
We are a breed apart.... Cmon Leicester..............
It was going well before that can remember it as far back as late 80's, pretty sure it's been going on since I've been going which was about 1988
It was certainly going on before 94

About half way through this at the minute, supprising what happens if you just say yes to every question given. Really enjoying it. Bit different to the film like.
in the fact that the book is actually pretty good!

Legalise it? Of course, anything that takes drugs out the criminal arena would be a good thing. Look at Holland for the proof of that.
Do I smoke it? Not a chance, quite a few of the people who I know do and apart from a couple it does seem to effect them, one gets so paranoid after one its untrue and it totally ruins his night. His choice though, can't see the attraction myself.
As for the fully grown men who sit around all day getting monged out on it, well, absolute stain on the nation. Oxygen thiefs.
is this the same Holland that taking massive steps to change it's policy including making it illegal for tourists to buy from next year, classing the stronger stuff as hard drugs and making coffee shops members only establisments?

I'm still waiting for mine to be dispatched

same here!
-
I asked where my order was yesterday and they have extended the delivery to 15 days eventhough the poor bloke in the warehouse is working double shifts 7 days a week. I cried for him
But I should say one of my orders arrived today
Ha!Their sale is costing me a fortune still waiting on two parcels turning up from Lyle and Scott but at the prices and discounts they are offering, well worth the wait

I bought a Living End album once and thought it was bloody terrible!!

Simple Minds tonight at Sherwood Forest

Nice place for a gig surrounded by trees, saw Weller there the other year. right shitter to get out of after the gig though and be prepared for some idiots to pitch full gazebo, chairs, picnic table and blankets etc right at the front in the middle!!
oh and don't where decent footwear it's gonna be muddy as hell!!

One of those albums has to be this one:

any album title that can also be turned into an innuendo is a winner.
quality album!!!

Been roped into going to see Foals in Coventry in a couple of weeks with my mates. Can't say it's really my scene, although I quite like a few of their B-Sides my mate played me.
Just imagine everyone there except me will look and act like an extra out of Nathan Barley.
Oh well, there's always the bar I guess...
you will love Foals live they are amazing full of energy, and will have you danicing like a loon!!
even if you are not sure about them on CD live they are simply stunning, one of the best live bands I have seen
-
He's ****ing quality live. Probably going to see him again in June/July.
yeah it was an awesome gig!! no band just frank and almost everyone singing along to every single word, ballard of me and my friends at the end was as epic as it can get

Baffled why I didn't like this album as much when I heard it the first couple of times. Revisited it after a few months and I've been all over it today. I understand they've had another one out recently too.

Stunning album the one before thise one is pretty good as well but almost sounds like a different band, haven't got hold of the new one yet!
love this song Andy Hull did about 50cent
-
@ StanSP and ajthefox, Explosions in the Sky are genius.
I feel like I have converted you both (even though it may not be the case and you may have liked them way before I began to bum them off in here)
I hear Nothing Good Has Happened Yet a while back and though it was a decent effort, looked into them more closely as they started to release more stuff.
Got some insanely catchy songs, The Waiting Room and All Of This Has To End are cracking.
The two songs released of their new album The Waiting Room and What it Feels Like are cracking tunes if their new album is filled with tracks like them they could have a very big year!
love Look Alive as well
-
We are the Ocean
can't get enough of them at the minute
-
I know! I just had a thought today, seeing as there's a good chance I might catch them at Benicassim. I was only wee when this came out so it's never really been on the radar so to speak. But I trust the judgement of many on here, and it went down well. It might be 17 years old now, but hell it's all still relevant.
You should check out the Portishead NYC live album next then!
-
Thanks to a handy reminder on Facebook from Jay I'm going to be dusting this down later - to date my favourite drum n bass album and one of my favourite albums from any genre.

Good choice!!!
did you go a little bit crazy when the music started to play? what a tune!!!
-
Saw Frank Turner last night, he played a show to help out the White Rabbit in Plymouth because they had financial problems. He was absolutely awesome, and carried on till past midnight, doing stuff with other bands on the bill and everything. Loved it.
FT is an absolute legend and does things that so many other musicians would never dream of he's just done a few gigs up north for free, with entry by donation to charity the bloke is just unreal and some of his lyrics are simply brilliant.
One of my favourite musicians over the past few years and in an industry filled with egotistical money grabbing bastards a geniune and honest bloke

What gigs are you going?

A few years ago I would have laughed at the suggestion but you should invest in some special music ear plugs I had some custom ones made and they are awesome, if anything they enhance the sound and you don't get gig ear. never go to a gig without them now
