Think on his day he's been decent but the fact he's never played90 minutes for us says it's own story. Yes he's been unlucky with injuries. Yes he was probably ****ed over by Brendan. Yes he's better than some give him credit. But the fact is he's been happy to sit back and take money from the club when it was in his career's interest to move on. It's why he's 29 and going to the Belgian league as opposed to signing for a club like Torino a couple of years ago and being in a Serie A side and probably the Belgian national team. One of many mistakes the club made in the last 4/5 years. We were in such a good position and we fluffed it. Simple as that.

I did too. I think when Ipswich put the press on at the end he began to struggle a bit with his distribution though. He's not comfortable playing that pass up the touchline with his left foot. But otherwise Burns didn't get a sniff.

Yep think they had a half chance from Burns that Mads tipped over after about 55 minutes but then they just huffed and puffed. I would say that we had the better chances in the second half. Should have been 3/4 nil up before they equalised but that's football. 8 days rest now until Swansea.

Only on paper or by former reputation. The way I look at it is that anyone on the bench is either past it, doesn't care or is an academy lad there to fill numbers when he should be on loan.

Think the major issue is the lack of depth in the squad. Other Championship fans look at the names we have on the bench and think we've got some sort of super squad but look at the difference between our bench and Ispwich's last night. Who on our bench has a point to prove or has a desperation to be in the starting 11 each week? I don't think we've got anyone that wants to take their spot for their own. Granted our first 11 has been superb but beyond that it's slim, slim pickings. Compare with Ipswich and it felt like every one of their subs was pissed off they didn't start the game and wanted to prove that they should have done.
