Another that hasn't been mentioned was Trent Alexander-Arnold's freekick from last season. ****ing rocket that was. Annoyingly
-
Yet those people clamour for Martin? If people think Marescaball is boring you should watch 10 minutes of this Southampton team. It's no wonder they're seemingly never on tele.
-
How anyone could see how the season has gone and think we've made a mistake in appointing Maresca is completely beyond me.

That's their point in fairness. That parachute payments should be scrapped and shared across the league because the relegated sides just sell their players to make money. But the problem is when a side like Sheffield United go down in the summer with next to no players worth anything.
-
It's Di Maria's goal. Just outrageous. Not been mentioned yet but another great goal was Jo Kuffour's volley for Bristol Rovers on the turn when we were in League 1. IIRC we won that game 2-1 with two stoppage time goals from Fryatt.
-
I actually think it hurts bigger teams. The sides that love to camp in the opposition half because they've always got the back up of just fouling the counter attacking player will not like this new rule.

People don't understand how rare it is to have a striker like that.
-
Who is number 1? I hope you don't mean us considering there were people who didn't think the players deserved to be booed for being relegated hahah
-
What's happened to them is what would have happened to us if we'd appointed someone like Jesse Marsh.
-
Watch us not even sell him. It'll be a loan for 6 months for a half eaten bag of quavers.
-
I thought he played well but Enzo was right to take him off.

Laughably good today. Stoke couldn't get close to him. Must have covered every blade of grass on the pitch as well.
-
Yep. I am not ashamed to admit that i'm a bit of a moaner when it comes to the tactics we play. (albeit not a gerrit forward screeching muppet). I have found some of the homes games a bit dull once the game has been won. We tend to play some excellent, entertaining football and then carry on the game in 2nd gear after we've gone 2-0 up. I do feel like this team is that good that we should expect more of what we saw today. We didn't give Stoke a sniff and yet consistently created chance after chance with some lovely free flowing attacking football. That is exactly what I want to see more of and i'm sure Enzo does too.

Didn't he have a year where he was superb after giving up the captaincy. Been a rough 12 months or so though. -

Bloody hell Bumrah is something else. -
There's absolutely no chance that there was an issue with the work permit.

Buzzing to hear what Enzo has to say. What times the press conference?
-
I keep going from shaking my head laughing at the whole thing to being absolutely furious. Everyone could see we needed a midfielder. We've been giving time to Praet, Raikhy, Yunus and Ricardo in that number 8 role since Casadei left. The fact the Sensi deal fell through is bad enough but it's the fact we've put every single one of our eggs into one basket. Nobody thought to line up a loan move.
-
Think you're projecting a bit.
-
Because there would be absolutely no reason for Inter to do that. He's out of contract in 6 months and not in their manager'splans whatsoever. Frankly I imagine that they were happy for him to go for next to nothing. It sticks of us trying to shift the goalposts to save a couple of hundred grand or so. It almost makes me want to see us cock promotion up. Just so that Top might finally see what a ****ing charlatan he's employing to run his football club.
-
Leicester and Forest are both ****ed by PSR. Can't buy without selling. Forest have sold 10 players this window. We have sold nothing. Rudkin is simply not fit for purpose. He's there because he's mates with Top. That is the only reason.
