I'd much sooner have Rafa in this season... than I would Marsch. Management is complex, but I cannot see anyone in that squad other than Daka, having any respect for him. Rafa will command it, and even though he has a sketchy record with falling out with players if they don't do what he asks / has his favourites, right now, this team needs to learn the basics all over again... especially in how to defend as a team

I’m going to sound like a “we were in league 1 once” man … I’m not one of those, and completely disagree with the sentiments of most, especially in the media… that we are Leicester, what do you expect. But… the positives. Watching that yesterday made me really appreciate even more what we’ve had over the past 6-7 years, it’s been almost constant success for a club our size. I put my headphones away in my bedside drawer last night and there was the FA Cup mercury special, with Youri smiling at me. Kasper Wes and co with utter joy written across their faces. It’s really quite depressing at the moment, and it’s probably only going to get worse. What Vichai had built here is being destroyed… But football is cyclic, we are going through a painful period right now, but eventually (I don’t know when) it will get better. I’m sure of it… But in football, even those who support the Rich 6 (7 now) aren’t happy all the time… look at Utd, one of the most successful teams in history, when was the last time they won the league? They have to watch city and Liverpool win things while they sing about their owners. It’s crap now, and it might be for a while, but try to remember how good it’s been recently. It’s helped me over the past couple of months, when the reality of a return to championship kicked in. And last night, as sad as it might sound, I watched some of the FA Cup final recorded on the sky box, clips of Andrea and Ranieri on my phone to cheer me up… we had it, the glory days, at least… rather than not, like most clubs supporters. The reality is most clubs just take part… we’ve done more than that - we beat the bas***** and their oil Barron's. Maybe only briefly, but we did it. Sorry to get sentimental - but it’s helped my mood

I think I’ve read we are demanding £50mill for Maddison… but we did the same with Tielemans and now we are losing him for free, so you may be right in £30 mill bracket. We need 3 players from youth team to step up and rely on loan market next season. Going to be interesting to watch, but probably also very painful

It’ll be a mixture of 5/6 squad players we currently have, along with some players currently out on loan and new blood (probably on loan) … but who they’ll be, I have no idea. I’d like Iverson to stay but sell Ward - get his wages off the books Souttar you’d think will stay, and be a really good player in the championship. Faes might leave, Amartey I think is going on a free. Nelson out on loan maybe back up? Kristensen I guess also stays, but both Ricardo and Castagne will leave. Hopefully Justin stays As for midfield, no idea, don’t feel like we’ll have anyone left. KDH probably, but that’s probably it. Daka and Iheanacho probably both leave, Vardy retires… so again, players out on loan in or we get fresh blood. It really is a big job

I don’t know why he was picked, but honestly, who actually deserves to play out of that lot? So many of them have been poor for too long

I’m not saying he’s been any good since we signed him, but I’m saying, in my opinion (and many others it seems) there were worse individual performances out there than him today.

With Maddison, Castagne, Ricardo, Daka, Iheanacho, Soumare (and a few more) bringing in money, and another 6 leaving on frees, surely that’s a massive wedge saved? We just need to be smart in loan deals etc from prem clubs, but I have little faith in our board to get it right

Really? He was ok today - better than Amartey, Kristensen, Maddison, Vardy If you’re going to single someone out, get the right player
