Agree.

I just think it’s a matter of time with this one, he’s still not fully fit is he otherwise he’d be playing I think.
-
Yes. Offers something different and plenty of championship experience.
-
Just come on for Man City…
-
So when we loose possession and he’s stuck upfront he won’t need to run back? He’ll just ‘step back into RB’ 😂 If we’re looking at the way Cancelo and Walker played for Pep over the last two years it will be something similar with Ricardo/JJ, they’ll be expected to get backwards and forwards pretty quickly hence the terminology used. If we played with another winger then yes I would agree with you. But I think they’ll be letting Ricardo run the show down that right hand side.
-
I personally can’t see us going with 2 wingers, I think it’ll be more of a 5-3-2 or 3-5-2 however you see it. I think the front 2 will be Piroe just behind Vardy, with KDH, Winks and Casadei in midfield. Could be wrong though, he may play Doyle at LB and let Ricardo/JJ bomb on from the RB position, not sure what this does for Thomas or Kristianson though?
-
But you would argue they are young enough to be coached by the right person? If they can’t then he’ll bring his own in? We should have a young enough team that should be able to be coached still and not stuck in Rodgers-ball. Justin, Thomas, Souttar, KDH, Hamza. Nacho may well stay now knowing Enzo from Man City days? You would think he will try and get the best out of Marc and Jamie still and they should be of quality and experience to be able to adapt still?

So will Amartey 😉

I take your points and they are facts which I accept. We all know we needed a re-fresh, even Brendan said that this time last year. It’s took relagation for our board and owners to realise this mess. You are missing the point of our fantastic youth set up though, the fact we have done it correctly in the past with building our club gives me a lot of hope. Also, we are not going to loose all of our players, the ones that are left should be more than capable at competing at this level, Souttar, Justin, KDH to name a few… Plus we should have a decent war chest to add to that and players WILL want to come here - something we could never really do before last time we were in this position. If I asked you to compare our club last time we were relegated from the Premier League to now - I’m pretty sure you would be a LOT more optimistic than back then? I certainly am, especially because of seagrave 😉

He looks confident. Exactly the type of player we should be looking at who wouldn’t have too much expectation on him. Can learn from Vardy. Thrive of our training ground and facilities. Knows the league well. Seems like good business to me.
-
No I agree with Tuna - we have an excellent training ground. Still plans to improve the stadium. We not going to loose all of our players. We’re in a great position to re-build. I am biased and I do have a positive mindset on my club, but I am also aware this was a massive wake up call for us. I believe given our history, we will fix this and be back to our best given we make the correct decisions in the short term.

Mahrez was one-footed! Also Rodgers has a knack of improving players. You’re also forgetting McNeil is only what 21 years old... most young players are playing lower league at that age... he’s clearly got a talent, which I believe Brendan and his team could bring out if we went in for him. Our club has been built on spotting young, talented players and improving them has it not??
-
I think we’ll be back in for McNeil at Burnley. I think he’s ready for a move. Shown clear quality but has stumbled a bit under Dyche in terms of progress. I would offer a double deal for Tarkowski and McNeil. I do feel we need another attacking midfielder though and think we will also go for someone like Thauvin...
-
Quickly deletes post. Was a tap in though 🤣
-
Need another Winger. Perez is not the answer.
-
Agreed. Pants are being pulled down on our side now with other teams knowing we’ve got a massive few for a defender. Cahill for a year is a great shout. Him, Evans and Wes would be ideal for Soyuncu and Benkovic to learn from.
-
Brendan you have £80m to spend before transfer deadline

He got that already with Youri ? -
Absolutely spot on mate. How many mistakes or bad decisions has Gray/Barnes and to be fair Maddison made but because they score goals they get away with it. I see plenty of potential in Soyuncu and he’s very similar to Maguire in my opinion.
-
Think if we don’t get another Midfielder he’ll be staying. I still think he has something to offer?
-
I wouldn’t say it’s vital. Marc and Harvey can do it for us. It would be nice as I’ve never been convinced by Gray myself. I also think Maddison will play wide and Perez in behind Vardy.
