  1. Joined Brighton. Stop the ship and lock the topic!
  2. Clearly something isn’t right at the club. Whatever it is, the players will be aware of it.
  3. I thought I’d wondered onto the wrong forum.
  4. A touch of the Fofanas about him then!
  5. Terms agreed on this one? Just need to agree a fee?
  6. I forgot to mention it was Ireland and it was a woman’s team, for 4 games.
  7. The money we’ve wasted on Ayew could have got us Corberan. Still would have been ideal. I don’t have the answers to who, as you never know who is available. Some Coaches will be attracted to the role, as it’s still a Premier League job, even getting us within touching distance of survival would be an achievement.
  8. We played explosive counter attacking football with Kante being a turnover machine. I don’t think we play the style of football Cooper wants.
  9. Jokes aside, what Is your take on his appointment in general and the style of play?
  10. That’s an insult and I take it personally. You’re one comment away from mocking my appearance and height. Just as an FYI, I’ve a 75% win record as a coach with my UEFA B license. Admittedly, it wasn’t at a very good and I bowed out early as it’s an horrendous job even at semi pro level.
  11. Oh, I don’t agree with the insults. I just don’t think he’s the correct person to give us the best chance at survival.
  12. Different setup, on another day, Spurs put 4 past us in that game. Maresca would have bored many to tears this season but I’d like to think we’d have had more than 29% possession, thus restricting them more.
  13. It’s 100% on Top, Whelan and Rudkin for his appointment. I mean, if they’d offered me £2m per year on a 3 year deal, I’d have taken it.
  14. It’s not where my position comes from. We gave appointed a coach with a different philosophy and style of play to that which was played under Puel, Rodgers and Maresca. It’s like using a blender to make pancakes.
  15. So I’m guessing from this backlash people want to persist with his football then?
  16. It’s a terrible plan. It’s made worse by the fact VK also isn’t that great either positionally, we lack a bit of fluidity. Attacks are breaking down. I’m also not sure if he doesn’t trust Mavs work rate. He’s trying to play an industrious type of football, without the players do do that. I’m beyond frustrated with his approach as he’s basically dropped two of our best players, then moved away from an approach that successful last season. This season was always going to be rough, however it feels we’re basically inflict further damage to ourselves.
  17. We’ll have to agree to disagree. Cooper is an awful appointment and needs to go in the bin.
  18. Please the shite he served up in pre season. It’s tactical awful. You know a rusty Skoda is crap, you don’t need to wait two weeks to work it out.
  19. I said it at the time. He should have gone at that point.
  20. Rodgers should have gone after losing to Coopers Forest.
  21. It was the wrong appointment to begin with. He’s so far away from the style of football that we’ve played and the squad we have doesn’t suit him. It’s exposing his lack of flexibility. We don’t need a world class coach. We need one that can work with the tools that he has.
  22. I’m fully T Total! The issue is that we’ve gone away from the philosophy that Maresca built. I was maybe in the minority that didn’t want Maresca to go as I didn’t mind his pragmatic football. His non starting use of Ricardo and Mavididi is criminal.
  23. Like I wrote @Ricey, I’ll die on this hill. A better quality coach gets more from this squad. We are all over the shop.
  24. No, like I said, I’d like him to pick a team that contains our best players and show some sort of in game management.
