Just sat down to watch a game in the newly formed Australian Championship this afternoon, not knowing many of the players, one name instantly rang a bell and PTSD - in goal for APIA Leichhardt - the name Kalac! Turns out it’s Oliver, son of the number one goalkeeper in any worst Leicester XI. Hopefully, no Leicester scouts in attendance.

I’m not questioning, but surely someone has a hattrick quicker than 93 minutes and 34 seconds.

On FoxesTalk, threads go askew, "My mate's the ref!" kicks off the view. There's plane spotting pride, And Tinder gone wide While some poor kid begs for your Kinder vote
-
On FoxesTalk, chaos is spread, "Swap the stands!" some joker once said. “New winger? Ric Flair!” Cue Kinder Face stare And of course, we still blame Wellens instead.

Swansea 1-3 LCFC, post match thread

I think this would be a great argument if VAR was 100% error free. VAR has ruined football for me at the top level, mistakes happen and discussing those mistakes is part of the game. But ultimately, human error in the spare of the moment looking through bodies is completely justifiable. -
I get that he’s allowed to, anyone is allowed to have an opinion. But what was the context? Was he on Super Sunday and there wasn’t much to discuss? Or was he a guest on Newsnight and the conversation came up? or is it just his comments on Social Media that have riled everyone up?

Uefa 'reluctantly' approves games played abroad

We’re not far off 14 Premier League clubs under American ownership. Once this happens, games will regularly be played in the US. It’s almost the worst thing that could happen for the game in England. -
I think he’s done now anywhere near the top level. Next job will be somewhere like Bolton or Plymouth, followed by a Tranmere or Shrewsbury before he fades down the non league pyramid. All the time blaming the mind set and fear in his players, not his tactics.

Just went across to the Australian/New Zealand Premier League Event over the weekend. Winner gets a shot at the Worlds… cracking night out, but standard was appalling. Whitlock the big favourite, but went out in the first round on the night.

Has anyone flagged the potential issue here?

Haven’t really followed what’s been happening over there, but from what I do see, it seems like a bit of a shit show of people hating each other? Is that what it’s actually like? Or are most people just going about their business as normal? Also why is Gary Neville doing any sort of social commentary? And why is anyone listening to anything he has to say?

Going for a 2-0 win, both goals coming from Ramsey - he’s got a bit to make up for after his debut.

Rudkin next please 🤞

Should never be happening at that age group. Quite frankly, shouting doesn’t work at any age group. Number one thing at the younger ages is to teach the kids to love the game. If they love what they’re doing, they’ll want to improve. Results really don’t matter at that age group, it’s all about developing a love, teamwork and getting the basics. This season I coached both the men’s senior team and the U8s team at the same club, men’s senior team won the league, U8s got two wins for the season. Every single one of those kids wants to come back next year and continue developing. If I was shouting at them, I don’t think any of the would want to come back. A good coach shouldn’t need to yell and scream.

More government cost cutting measures…

It’s the whole money making crap that’s ruined football. There are far too many games played now, let’s keep expanding the Champions League, the World Cup, and big preseason tours - but don’t let Tamworth get a reply away at Spurs because too many games… It’s just not as enjoyable as it used to be. I’d love to see them go straight to the knock out phase. 2 legs, no seedlings winner takes all - less games, but far more exciting.

I think Gary Parker was in the youth set up when he first started out.
-
I see KDH had picked up a suspension for 5 bookings this season. Must be a record 6 games into the season.
-
Not sure what else he would sign it as? You have to make sure these documents accurately reflect yourself.
-
That was a wise move wasn’t it!
-
It’s hard to remember, but Junior Lewis originally joined on loan and wasn’t too bad… then we signed him permanently and he was a complete donkey.

Wasn’t there an Ipswich player last season who made his debut and got the trifecta - own goal, red card and penalty given away?
