At the end of the day, he is the person who is ultimately in charge of all things football through the whole club. So when we’ve fallen form challenging the big 5, to looking like two relegations in three seasons. With little to no recruitment (we are basically playing the same back 4 that got relegated two years ago, with the same 38 year old leading the line.) Not a single position has been improved on since we last got relegated with the exception of goalkeeper- we are relying now on a GK who came through the system and still played the goalkeeper that was a large part of the relegation. We are not seeing the quality young players have a path way into the first team, unless there are significant injuries. We aren’t seeing our young players have successful loans and to make matters worse we played some of them in meaningless cup game, knowing they were going out on loan, and now those loans haven’t worked we can’t organise a new loan. We’ve hung on to underperforming mangers - who told the board he didn’t have the players to be successful, put temporary managers in place for key games, hired Smith and Cooper and now looking like Rudd who don’t seem up to the task. The last 4 permanent managers have all complained about being promised funds for transfers that didn’t materialise and have upset them. I could go on, but you get my point? Rudkin though is ultimately responsible for all of these things. Now there are others at the club such as Whelan, Top and other board members who are responsible for other calamitous decisions such as the £25 season card, the crap communication at all levels from the r club, the not allowing the mental health flyers, the lack of action on ground improvements, the fiasco with the shirt sponsor, kids not being able to get the same shirts as players, the failing to listen to the fans on a number of key decisions… Again I could go on, but you get the gist? And see why supporters are pissed off? At the end of the day, if things are going well on the pitch you can forgive some of the rubbish of the pitch. Because we all want a successful club on the pitch and it’s what we live for. Rudkin is getting the brunt of it, because he’s the one responsible for these things. But more and more the on field is shedding a light on the off field, hence sack the board and top/whelan out chants.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Aus Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
To be fair the traffic in London is a nightmare! Half our fans will be joining him… -
I love that this was the first post when I opened the thread and then I had to think back which clown are you talking about?

So did Okoli say Rudkin out! -
How significant was the loss of Kasper Schmeichel?
Aus Fox replied to Pliskin's topic in Leicester City Forum
The single worst decision we’ve made in the last 5 years was letting Kasper go and not replacing him. This is the major reason for so many of our problems right now.- 69 replies

FFS just when you think things at this club can’t get any worse… Now I don’t even get a “Who are ya?” When I listen to the pod! Rudkin out! And take the board with you… unless you can provide us a new who are ya? Another good pod lads, even without the best part. Pretty much agree with most of what was said again. -
Not an ex player, but an ex shirt sponsor (Sorry didn’t know where else to put it) I Juliet read Le Coq Sportif have filed for bankruptcy. The shirts that were worn by such club legends as Trevor Benjamin and Callum Davidson in another horror season. They felt like a bit of a step up in revenue after Fox Leisure and felt like we starting to move towards the big time, before everything imploded for us… sound familiar.

Stolarczyk is the least of our problems right now and 1000% better than the other option. He’s young and will learn from his opportunity now. If we ultimately do go down and have no money to spend he will be a quality number one in the Championship

It just gets worse. I genuinely don’t think we have a single premier league quality player in the squad today. Not one of them will play in the Premier League again after this season. From top to bottom is bloody awful and nothing is going to change for a long time.
-
On that sell list, there is not a single player any team would buy… not a single player would add anything to any other squad and that’s the problem with our recruitment. It’s appalling and we’re stuck with shit for yours to come.
-
Sorry you’re wrong - we are complete Bollox from top to bottom. Nothing but bollox

We can’t keep sacking managers and then hiring new ones and being surprised when nothing changes. Until there are major changes at boardroom level and in the director of football role then it does not matter who’s in charge, we will struggle. We've got the worst squad of players in the Premier League, I genuinely don’t think there’s a player in the squad today who will play premier league football again after this season. The recruitment is rancid, the club is rotten from Top to bottom and until it’s cleared out there’s no point sacking a manager or hiring a new ones.

Euphemisms to describe our current plight.
Aus Fox replied to Free Falling Foxes's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think Rudkin would describe us as being in a position of deferred success. -
You wait until he reads @Bilo open letter.

LCFC: We need to move players on before we can buy new players! Also LCFC, let’s not bother getting back to the teams who want our squad players. Come on Rudkin sort it out you flog!

There was also the one about Barry’s packet of sweets and his cheeky smile… but that was maybe a little too far

We’ve been here before, remember when we wanted Barry Pierpoint and his Gang of Four out! Posters were handed out pregame and people stood at kick off holding up a simple and clear message. We chanted before and after games and eventually won. We need the same tactics again.
-
Well they’ve won 5 of their 21 games this season, so they’re marginally doing better than us, but I don’t think anyone would be saying the Leuven experiment is working for with side.

“Alright love, They wanted £20 for that round, I got them down to £15 a month for the next 5 years.”
