  1. Slowly bought LCFC stuff for my lad. He now has a duvet, cushion, filbert fox, LCFC elf and last seasons shirt. Me, I have a signed shirt from 15/16 season proudly up on the top of my stairs. I have kept all my CL tickets and clappers from that run, I've got the DVD of the season 15/16 and I have a LCFC badge in my car that has been transferred to and from 3 cars in its life time. For balance, my wife hates football
  2. Interesting point. So do you reckon Top feels he can't fire Rudkin because his father trusted him?
  3. Lord Flasheart? Woof, woof!
  4. I completely get where you're coming from, but I think Cooper will fully lose the dressing room before then if not already. if top does wait till the end of the season, it will already be too late. The players are struggling with his lack of tactics and direction that is clear to see. Evidence is how many times they run into each other or caught out of position. End of the season maybe too late and that is the mistake they made with Rodgers. Blind faith until it was too late to react, and this scenario will be the same I feel. Only this time the EFL will throw the book at us. Is that a gamble worth taking? I keep referring to it, but if this does happen what did they learn in their end of season 'review' when we went down?
  5. My word, our club gets more and more frustrating. They do know from pres season to now, there hasn't been any glimmer of hope at all. Not even a bit to say, yeah give him time. We're in a false position, got lucky on our wins and draws and yet nothing is going to happen. I can see why people are losing enthusiasm for this club.
  6. Im fairly confident to say he wasn't. Look at the lack of fanfare when he arrived. The interview seemed heavily scripted by the club and didn't seem like the club were that excited. Wonder if it was Potter it would have been more of a bigger thing. It just seemed half bothered at the time
  7. I completely agree. There are also possible replacements available. By Xmas those options might have other jobs. It's just not worth the gamble. We could be in all sorts of trouble by Xmas. His win percentage is poor, his tactics are poor, his game management is poor, it looks like his coaching is poor and he's indecisive. I really wanted him to stabilise us and set us up hard to beat. Neither have happened, sadly. It's clear to anyone it isn't working.
  8. There isn't enough/if any noise around this to be happening this week. He'll be in charge for Chelsea an Brentford at least is my take on things. More painful game watching to come. Enzo will rip us apart.
  9. Ah the important relegation review that they did was a great idea. Shame they didn't actually learn anything or do anything about it. This is an opportunity to make a quick change. But I think they'll only make a change if someone they are keen on (you know who) openly says, I'm ready for it. Unless that happens our board will sleep walk into relegation...again!! Such a soft feeble underbelly to this club, it's unreal. When we came up and were bottom of the prem with Nigel, I was still hopeful. We were in games, very unlucky in some but there was fight, direction and clearly players that wanted to play for the manager and lots of belief. A bit like Ipswich now, and that's why I think they have a chance to survive. Right now, the club the fans and the players look like they have none of that.
  10. Only good thing about international break. Other than that, I don't give two hoots of a camel
  11. Football tactics and game management for beginners course
  12. Puel has some credit with me by the way he handled a very difficult situation. He also made some good signings, he just was just dull and that's what probably ended it. I never questioned him as much as I did in the disaster Rodgers final months or Cooper. We have had a lot worse.
  13. Me know nothing 💯
  14. I very much doubt it's real. Don't get your hopes up. He's just posted it for more followers
  15. Megson was the pits, thank god it was only a short time
  16. I was in the away end and can confirm this was chanted along with a very minor "we want Cooper out!" by a selection of fans
  17. It normally gives a slight indication, I know not scientific, but gives a feel that something will happen.
  18. Yet still conceding goals...poor goals
  19. @StriderHiryu- in your next analysis, can you make a point on the body language of the players as the came out at the beginning of the match? There was literally no enthusiasm from them. They looked flat. You could tell when they came out that they looked like a team just going through the motions and didn't really want to be there. Watch it back if you can from when the players first come out. They look flat as a pancake. Also Justin was RB, RWB and RW yesterday, Cooper is going to burn him out. We're so lop sided is disgraceful. How can you not have anyone on the right to help Justin? How can that be a good tactic?
  20. Cooper isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Rudkin and co are just as inept and indecisive as Cooper. He mirrors the people above him. They will dither around until it's too late. They should be actively looking for his replacement, but due to the low betting odds and past experience, this isn't going to happen. They did the relegation review apparently, but learnt absolutely nothing from it. The same mistakes are being made, and no one cares. The players look flat and frustrated, the fans are annoyed and flat yet no one can see it board level. That to me either shows incompetence or they don't care. There is a massive disconnect in all aspects of the club and it's not getting better. The starting point is to get rid of Cooper, but the rotten core remains. Rudkin needs to go and a new fresh face in. Its become a job for friends rather than a business that needs to move forward with a refresh. We're sleeping walking again to disaster and no one is taking control.
  21. When the players came out, the didn't look enthusiastic at all. They all looked like the didn't really want to be there at the start. Body language didn't fill me with confidence even before the ball is kicked. Our club is a mess
  22. I think now it's so toxic from the fans towards Cooper even if he turns it round for a bit, he'd still not be wanted.
  23. I genuinely felt for Justin. He was up and down. Yes he was caught out for position, but that is because he was asleep to play RB, rwb and RW all game. Cooper is going to burn him out, it's a terrible tactic. In what way is that good for anyone. It's horrible to watch.
  24. Signings aren't the issue. They all look lost, that's not on them. That is on Pooper
  25. Someone tell me what the formation was?! There wasn't a right side all game. Poor Justin had to do a lot. Cooper is burning players out. Also the tactics were non existent as the players kept getting in each others way. When did you see that when we had Enzo. We'll get thrashed against Chelsea playing like that. Also, Old Trafford has to be the quietest stadium I've ever been to! Theatre of silence!!! I'm so frustrated with us at the moment
