These 100% for me. These sum things up for me and with the realisation that no matter what we think, the board expects us to be relegated. If we do get relegated we'll be swallowed up by the EFL, book thrown at us and then be a championship side for ever more. Premier league football being something we talk about for years as the good old days. Blackburn esque.

Exactly, Pearson clearly had the players onside, playing for him and his trust and that reflected in performances. You are right we were unlucky in a few games. The club felt united and we could see a plan and passion. Compare that to now is like seeing a damp rag floating in the gutter.

Sadly, this seems fair shout. Would this mean they've given up? And surely it should have changed with the loophole. However going down will mean we'll be a mid table championship club for years with potential points deduction and transfer embargo. No one will stay and we'll have a team of academy players whether we like it or not. So we'll have to keep the manager as well.
