Because he has been very ill, and he hasn't been talked about any other club maybe because we have an emotional connection with him and what he did. There is no mistaking that Pearson is the type of character and manager we really need. Whether that is the man himself due to past health issues only he can say hes ready. We're not asking for 2/3 years. We need him.for 3/4 months, then use him as an advisor. He knows what he's talking about, Rudkin doesn't even know what his favourite flavour crisps are! He would change the footballing side with his knowledge and skills, everything we're missing.

The pressure is growing on this fraud. He's the director of football, he is responsible for how we perform, it's his job to make sure we're getting results but alas we are in a championship relegation zone. Top must be utterly in love and blind to his incompetence. It's there for all to see. He's embarrassing his boss and his families legacy, I just can't see how Top can't see that. Manager after manager has issues with Rudkin, even ones that we wanted to employ wanted to bring their own in, Enzo did as well. That is telling. I think it comes down to one thing. If Rudkin goes, Top has no clue, and Rudkin knows that. If I was Top I would have sacked him or moved him away from the footballing side and got someone who knows the ins and out on a temp basis whos job it is to build a competent team for this club. It's the way Wrexham did it. They both admitted at the time they didn't know how to run a football club, so found someone who does and knows the back room bit of football to build it up. It can be done. Top just needs to grow a pair sack this man off. HE is to blame along with Top. Get this fraud out!

I think I'd have to go for Deano in that list, to be honest. Lee Carsley won't leave u21s as he doesn't look comfortable in the media and that is more low key. Seems a good coach though. Gary Rowett is another ill accept. Martin won't solve our issues, neither will Still. Gus Poyet....NO and Bruno Lage, I don't know anything about.

I'm hoping lascelles will put him back in his place. And I'll back him if they have a busy up on the pitch any day.

But didn't RvN try that tactic and they turned on him. Players have too much power as they get paid more than their manager. How many other jobs does that happen. I still think Gerrard isn't a good manager and is only getting jobs due to his playing career. But I get your points.

This Gerrard only gets jobs due to his amazing playing career. He was a captain of a big club, but that doesn't make you a manager by default. He failed at Villa and failed in Saudi, which says a lot! It's a big fat no from me. He'll be a disaster.
