I don’t think relegation will overshadow it. With nothing to play for on the pitch we can concentrate on giving him a good send off and actually end the season on a positive note by remembering the wonderful career he has had with us.

But now it can be about him without it overshadowing promotion which it may have done last season.

Taylor picked up 48 points in his only full season. There is a huge difference between the two.

He said he wanted to do ‘better than he did’ rather than ‘better than he has done’ so it looks like this is the end.

This is a real issue for the Premier League. 26 points was the most for a promoted team last season and it could be the same this time. Yes our problems have been self inflicted, but it’s not a coincidence that every team is struggling so badly. None of the Championship sides look anywhere near the required level this season. Why would any neutrals want to watch any of these uncompetitive matches? Even supporters of the teams involved don’t want to watch them.

I’m not happy with any of it at the moment and I can’t see how anybody can be clapping at the end. I do support Leicester through everything, that’s why I’ll keep going.

I have also contacted the club several times regarding the many things I feel they have got wrong in recent years. I’m also not saying I’m better than anybody else, it’s just my view that you should keep going through the bad times, something which made the amazing success we had even better.

So we were being run badly last season yet I didn’t see many say they would stop going.

It’s confusing because apparently we have been run badly for years but now you are saying we were run well last season with Rudkin bringing in a good manager and the correct players to fit his style.

Somebody said that they attended lots of games in League One not because we were winning but because the club was being run well. It wasn’t. I agree that it was a different club at the time but that doesn’t change the fact that we weren’t being run well. We weren’t being run well last season but people attended. I do not support the team in that way.

So last season or the League One season you don’t go because we pretty much knew we would win a lot of the matches?

We were also relegated to League One as a result of amateur decisions yet the person said they went to lots of matches because we were being run well.

I will keep going whether they are trying or not. As a supporter you get amazing times and desperate times likes this when it is horrible to see some players not giving 100%. But I couldn’t enjoy the better times in the future if I stopped going through the rough times.
