He never played since so he did change it. Same with Ward never played again. Dropped Winks never played again due to bad attitude. Repalced Kristensen with Thomas its worked. So while people say he hasn't got a clue he is making the right calls in regards to some.

Pretty sure he has said the players are not fit enough, due to the abomination of Cooper, he also has not had a pre season to implement his style on players that are behind him and willing to fight for the club. He has replaced Thomas with Kristensen and this seems to be working well, he introduced McAteer who may not be great but works his socks off and has made an impact, the midfeild options are very similar and limited going forward I think injuries to players haven't helped either. Plus King and BMB have only been here for 2 months he's been on his own with no back room team to help and that is key for any manager imo. He has also started to bring the youth through which everyone was crying out for. He clearly has high standards which is surely a good thing, I don't think he is no mug played for two of the biggest teams in the world.

You don't know what players we would have signed under Enzo so hard to say we would have got relegated the team would have been playing as a team unlike this year as well, I think its easy to say we would have got relegated but I don't think that would have been the case. Soon as we employed Cooper we had put the nail in the coffin before we even started, complete change of style and brought a load of rubbish.. I think with Enzo we get Okoli, Bilal and Facundo and he would of made proper use of them and that would have improved the team with just those players never mind anyone else we would have got. I think we all know it was Rudkins idea to bring Cooper in and it failed badly he should resign. That's why its hard to give Ruud any stick as he has had to re undo the mess Cooper made us and the board halfway through a season where players had already downed tools, Enzo had a full pre season and without that I can't judge Ruud.
