Can we have a "not bothered" Doubt if anyone is actively a "no one out", but I am sure for alot of us whether anyone goes or not we don't think it is likely to greatly effect the long term trojectory of the club one way or the other.

This unprodictability is exactly why we should be putting all our effort and resources in avoiding climate change altogether, rather than trying to predict how we need to mitigate its consequences.

I don't think so https://www.cityam.com/sadiq-khans-office-apologises-after-failing-to-probe-concerns-tied-to-ex-deputy-mayor/ https://www.bigissue.com/news/housing/sadiq-khan-london-homeless-children-christmas/ https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-68905791

I like most on here have no problem with the issues being discussed, but also feel that language used is completely over the top. Even such terms as "held to account" make it sound like you believe that club officials have deliberately got us to this place. I simpy do not understand the personal anger directed at staff who were pivotal in us winning the league.

Funny how we expect first generation immigrants to integrate, yet don't consider their offspring to be citizens here in the UK. We really are a nation of hypocrites

I don't see how it's even possible to serve consecutive life sentences.

Why do we need seperate home and away loyalty schemes, should be one if you ask me. Beyond that: 1 point per match attended, regardless of supporter status Rolling three year period Bonus points for least popular games home or away

He was found guilty of manslaughter actually and ordered to be detained in a secure hospital (e.g Broadmoor) indefinately, likely the rest of his life. Daily Mail level of spin there mate, but probably the sort of thing Trump was referring to.

These are promoted as the best ofboth worlds, but seem just the opposite to me. Lugging around two different technologies, just mean double or more things to go wrong.

Nuclear will most certainly be in the mix, but there are other ways of ensuring we have baseload when their is no wind or sun you know.
-
On that I can agree, even if that was economically & politically possible, which it isn't, the article doesnt address where we would find the manpower to build that vast infrastructure in such a short time span. Very disappointing this sort of rubbish does no favours to anyone.

Not sure anyone has suggested net zero would be met by 2030, the goal of this and the last givernment is 2050.
-
The effect will almost certainly be within a hundred years I agree, but populations will be too busy dealing with the aftermath to really care about who is responsible until sometime later.
-
Not sure there will be anyone left who can be fully held to be accountable, as it will take a long to play out. It seems to me that the worst that will happen to these charlatans is that at some point a hundred years or so away, there will be a debate about whether their statues should remain in place so that future generations can learn the lessons of history. But they won't as is being played out now, humans struggle to learn the lessons of even relatively recent histical events.

I am sure you are right, but do you think he cares one bit?

Hydrogen fual cells to power electric motors, yes NamX cars have electric motors, were invented nearly 200 years agoso hydrogen is certainly not following the progress of battery technology. Namx have also not addressed the costs of producing hydrogen nor is there a solution on the horizon unlike battery technology which is moving foward on a daily basis. I note you fail to address the need urgency on this matter, are you sure you don't have any financial interest in the petrochemical industry. Anyway I've more than had my say and don't see this thread moving forward to I'm out
-
Sorry it was you who was saying wait for Hydrogen all I've done is to show the challenges to that to which your only response is I think or technology always moves on. I'd be delighted if scientists discovered a way to make, transport and store hydrogen cheaply and practically as it would offer another power source for transport, business and the home, but humans simply cannot wait for that to happen. Like fusion hydrogen is always 30 years away.
-
Oh good that guarantees another labour victory for London
-
As I said earlier hydrogen fuel cells have been around a very long time, if they were going to offer a real alternative that would have been achieved by now. We certainly can't be waiting another 20-25 years yet you suggested in your first post that readers should wait. Battery technology is improving on a daily basis, that is where the money is to be made.

Yep and the only country in the G7 except the US to see an uprate. Your point is?
-
I see the IMF have uprated the UK growth forecast. I look forward to reading all about it in the Mail tomorrow morning. 🤣

I'll repeat try watching the whole exchange and you will see he did give an answer. Don't see why anyone should simply go along with the dig whistling from someone who only wishesro stoke the culture wars and who until two weeks ago had not given the victims one moments thought.

If the poster had bothered to post the whole of the questioning from the conservative councellor she did not go to ask in a way the major was comfortable to answer and he did so and explained what was being done in London to address the issue.
-
Equally why did not ask the question in a straightforward way, yes we think we knew what she meant but why was she reluctant to say it?
