  1. It could also have the opposite effect, which is why police did not used to so until the facts were clear and it would help their enquiries. They have since the Southport riots been forced to issue an ethnicity of someone they are by no means sure of. It's madness, but there we are.
  2. Fixed it for you
  3. Did I say the review itself was disingenuous, in fact I said the opposite. Calling it independent on the other hand. It clearly is not.
  4. So not independent of the fans who are also part of the engagement process, that is not then truly independent. I've no problem with this review it's only right that fans groups access the part they have to play, but calling it independent is disingenuous at best.
  5. Can you please explain how you consider this review to be independant?
  6. And see how he gets on against Captain Bin Face
  7. You'd think after 14 years of tory rule and 6 years after Brexit, we'd be in the sunlit uplands by now🤣🤣
  8. Just one I believe, Frazer Jones from Kirby Muxloe, unlucky to miss out by one shot this year at Burnham & Berrow.
  9. Another Brexit bonus,
  10. As far as I can see welck12 has the solution, but I am guessing that would not go down well with those the government is trying to appease.
  11. Simply saying take out the traffickers, is no different to saying stop them getting in the boat. A solution has to involve steps to achieve the aim. This is exactly what Starmer said he would do, but he found it to be not as simple as that.
  12. It is also not true, I don't believe anyone on either side what to prioritise those not native to this country. The difference between the left and the right is that the left don't wish to see anyone who wants to contribute to this country given incentives not too. Those on the right wish to prioritise natives over all others no matter their willingness to contribute. I appreciate that is a generalisation, but it is certainly true of the extremes.
  13. What incentive are you referring to?
  14. Plenty of electricians can do it, the make/model of charger is more important, as not all allow you to access Smart Tariffs.
  15. I hear this all the time, can you please explain how they could, without us becoming a pariah state??
  16. Not from what I read, he claimed it was an accident and no deliberate action to harm took place. On the face of it that seems unlikely but we were not there or were we in court.
  17. I hope they do find a way of ensuring only those who are entitled to travel away do so, ID checks or another method, but watch this forum explode with rage whatever system is used.
  18. Yes, but those stats still indicate three on one day not to be that unusual. i.e. it will occur most years.
  19. There are are between 1,000 & 1,500 earthquakes of over magnitude 5 a year, so not as unusual as you might think.
  20. Have you been living in a bunker for the last 10 years. The minister who is trying to push this the most is also the most unpopular, I am sad but not surprised to say that some very sensible people I know still think we are trying to go too quickly, and hate Ed Milliband for it.
  21. There will need to be more for full EV take up, but the time a car needs to stand charging is countered by the number of times the majority of EVs needs to use public facilities. I would estimate in the 4 years I've had an EV it has spent in total around a qtr of the time at a public charger than it would have had at a petrol pump

Yep austerity has consequences who'd have thought it.
  23. How will they know if a supporter has sold their ticket on??
  24. Ditto though only 4 years for me. Charging infrastructure is improving daily and there are now significantly more public chargers than there are petrol stations.
  25. I couldn't agree more, I have voted in every election of any sort since 1979 and not once has my vote made any difference as I live in one of the safest Tory sits there is. I'd love to see PR but fear there is not time to implement a new form of voting before the next election. I may though have the opportunity to vote tactically to keep Farage out next time, so at least may feel my vote counts even if holding my nose. Every cloud etc.
