LCFC Men Season Tickets: Price Freeze & Safe Standing Confirmed
Robo61 replied to jammie82uk's topic in Leicester City Forum
I am no expert but a quick google search indicates that changing to dynamic codes is no big deal. Seems to be the logical step if the club/PL want to stop the anonymous sharing of STs. -

As I understand it Q codes are able to refresh on a regular basis so rendering them useless for sharing. -
Safe standing - time to act

So, for all the moans about the club not consulting/communicating with fans, when fans are given plenty of opportunuty to give their views on a subject, that would appear reading these pages, was dear to their hearts, only around 7% can be bothered. -

It's all in the email the club has sent to all ST holders. -

That is the unofficial way and I would expect that to be closed off in the not too distant future. You can though log onto your account and allocate to anyone in your friends/family list. -

Not done it myself but understand it is pretty simple to transfer a ticket to a mate, just log onto your account and allocate the ticket to someone in your friends/family list. Easier than having to get your card to a mate, whilst your lying in bed with man flu. At the moment you can also send a screen shot of the Q code, though expect that loop hole to be closed up as other clubs have already done so. -
Applications for a 25/26 Season Ticket as a Member
Robo61 replied to niyaminski's topic in Ticket News and Travel
You will almost definitely be able to get one, going on previous years and the likelihood of there being more available this year, doubt it will go as low as 18. So you'll need to do separate applications if you are happy to take one without your mate. -

Will come down to how many home points you have in your account. We won't know how many are available until after the end of the renew period, though I suspect it will be significantly more than in recent years. -
Can someone with a digital season ticket tell me how it works?
Robo61 replied to Qwerty's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Strictly speaking mobile tickets are NFC and so are linked to your mobile device and therefore cannot be shared. However they currently also carry a Q code that allows entry and these can therefore be shared, I suspect at some point these will either be withdrawn or they will automatically refresh regularly and then they wouldn't be able to be shared. The club do though allow you to pass on your ST up to 5 times a year to anyone who has an account. You can also re-sell them, through the club, up to 5 times a year As for your kids, is it not time for them to have their own accounts. -
I would doubt it, given that Man U are always high risk in terms of their fans purchasing tickets in the home end. I'd wait for Southampton tickets if you really do want to watch the Foxes.
-
Really how many two year old doctors have you met. That is exactly the problem, people now expect after years of being able to get anything their heart desires from one place, that has never beenand never wil be possible by going to your local store.
-
I agree, and as I ST holder with over 270 points I have a used used friends STs to get tickets for friends who are memebers only, never the less it should not be so easy to do.
-
Yes lets hope they have put off those selling them on so that the rest get a fare crack of the whip, though I suspect form is the real deciding factor here.
-
That is not only what is happening though is it, supporters in the top priority are regularly selling their tickets on to people they do not know. At the recent your 90 minutes I attended the vast majority of fans were with the club in their view that this has to be stopped as it is grossly unfair on supporters further down the food chain. Further Jim stated that of the 23 fans ejected at Everton a very high proportion (from memory 20) did not have sufficient points to have purchased their own ticket.
-
Yes for home matches but we are discussing a game in Brighton here, so are you sure that the technology works the same there.
-
Right, so nothing to do with the veto then.
-
Not sure how that would be any different to the nation states getting together as it is they within the EU that have a veto, the EU as a body does not. . Though do agree any defence co-operative would have to include nations outside of the EU.
-
I guess some might be, but that is not the point really is it. If the club and its fans wishes to reward loyalty in its away allocation, then the system needs to be robust. If you wish to discuss stawarding, can I suggest you start a new thread.

It was the season before last. Jim stated at the meeting that during that period, the points needed to successfully get a ticket did go down, so did give opportunities to some that would not have legitimately been able to get a ticket. He didn't say whether there was a reduction in trouble at games, but did say they did have a number of tickets go completely unused at there were a number simply not turn up to collect their ticket. While it would be possible to ban people doing this in future from getting tickets, its not that easy as people simply come up with "genuine" reasons they may not have been able to collect their ticket. That's why we need to this to go in step with an away ticket returns policy. Even that's not foolproof though as some will purchase a ticket with the intention of passing it on, then simply say they cannot attend once selected for ticket collection.

Lee Chapman and the house he bought in Oadby.

If that is a 270 round trip then there are many EV's on the market now will do that with a breeze. If you only had 200 miles (the vast majority will do that) to play with, you could charge up on a destination charger for the time you are parked up for the game and add enough at a relatively cheap rate (£10 for about 100 miles). Bestter still if you can find someone who would offer your home charger, I would but I am some 13 miles from the ground. The other 170 miles would be costing you no more than £3.50. So the whole journey for less than £15 about a third of the cost of your average petrol/diesal. I agree though no good if you cannot charge at home.
-
I agree, don't at all understand why we have seperate home & away accounts.
-
Which is one of the reasons they said they were considering allowing fans to return tickets. Also recognising that peoples lives change between purchase and day of match.

It's currently a closed shop and those at the meeting representing the club recognised that. By reducing the number of points for ST holders and the number of years qualifying will increase turnover of those moving in/out of the top priority groups. Giving bonus points for midweek less popular games will incentivise those at the bottom of the food chain, by giving them a chance of moving up that chain. Would love to hear you proposals make things fairer.
