The chavs playing up in Amsterdam won't be on the plane to Russia. It won't stop England fans with no interest in a row being set upon or ambushed though. Before all the Russian Ultra hype started, in 2007 for the qualifier in Moscow, groups of English were being picked off in broad daylight by Russian lads. In fact the group i was with got attacked at a tube station, with no provocation, by a Spartak Moscow firm. If you think the police will look after you, forget it. We heard several tales of Russian coppers snatching passports and demanding money to hand them back. My advice is watch it on the TV, don't give them a penny of your hard earned. It isn't worth it. The media may try and hush it up but there'll be violence at the tournament without a doubt.

There is an alternative - for example Net promoter score which is used by loads of organisations as a KPI, is derived from a customer scoring a service 1-10. So fans could give every game an 'entertainment' score out of 10 and you could infer it from the match by match average....

Why anyone would choose to stand with a bunch of clowns chanting '10 German bombers' all day in the main square, while running the gauntlet of riot police is a mystery to me. It's fairly obvious to anyone with any sense that this would be a potential flashpoint, and to steer clear, find a quiet bar, chat to the locals and enjoy the food and culture while you're there as well as the game. By the same token, indiscriminate battering from the police isn't great either. Just avoid the area and don't take the risk, not rocket science.

Most Bournemouth fans seem to be those kind of whoppers that got into football after Euro 96. How they can take a holier than thou stance after knocking about in div 3 & 4 all their lives is beyond belief. At least half of them wouldn't have been to a game before this season, so for that reason I'd take them with a pinch of salt.

The ignorance of pundits & journos who think Mahrez's pass to Vardy was an aimless hoof is astounding. If they'd watched us regularly they would know that we look for that pass often, and you can see Vardy on his bike as soon as Mahrez gets the ball and Mahrez knows exactly where to put the ball because he knows the space Vardy will be running into.
