I'm slightly concerned the club have done with RM what they did with the last few managers, and not be transparent about the finances. Promising funds to get players in to lure the guy in and then he realises he's been lied to. Are we going to be solely reliant on free transfers? If so I reckon we can forget about promotion this season. The kids aren't good enough or experienced enough to navigate their way through a tough, long season.

Harry Winks to Cagliari permanent - Official

A weight off our shoulders and no doubt a huge saving in wages. I'd guess we've received a meagre fee, maybe £1.5m but still, good to get him out the door. -
Had a really productive season under Enzo but has fallen off a cliff and sulked his way through the last two seasons. Get rid at the earliest opportunity. We cannot afford to carry players with his attitude going forwards.

What Happened Next: Foxes Trust End Of Season Survey
Mapperleyfox replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Top was happy to meet the fans in the streets of Eindhoven etc when things were going well. Now he's turned the club to shit he's scared to show his face. The man is a coward. And so is Rudkin. -
2026/27 Fixture Release - 25th June, 12pm BST

Not looking forward to any of them. I'm still fuming we're even in this mess to start with. Will look to tick off a few new grounds and enjoy the pre/post match booze up and that's about it. If we end up winning the league i'll take no satisfaction whatsoever-it's par for what we should expect. Anything else is a disgrace. -
Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager
Mapperleyfox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just reeks of outright laziness again from our esteemed Chief Football Officer. Another Southampton link, probably through the same one agent he knows, someone he’s not had to do any due diligence on as he’s had a hard on for him for ages. I doubt Rudkin has done any other work in the market looking for alternatives for potential interview or appointment. He’s had Martin in his sights all along, making life easy for himself again and allowing him to have his feet up for two months. I doubt he was even interviewed. The whole thing stinks and although it makes me slightly uncomfortable, part of me hopes it all goes belly up so the pressure on JR grows even more. -
Jon Rudkin's statement word for word - obviously he's already started the process to bring in a new manager and we can expect an elite coach for this level imminently right? I imagine in tandem he's working tirelessly on the recruitment plan in line with his master strategy? "It requires a long-term vision built on careful planning, discipline and consistency, while retaining the agility to respond to the immediate demands of an intensely competitive environment. “We approach that challenge with clarity, unity and determination, and we are fully committed to building a Club that our supporters can be proud of, both now and in the years ahead.” Or in the real world - he's on the beach looking at his bank balance laughing at us all....waiting for his favourite agents to do the hard work for him and offer up some options at the last minute...
-
Another stunning piece of recruitment from Jon Rudkin's high performance football strategy department - a really thorough bit of scouting there....

Hope he snaps both cruciate ligaments and his career is in tatters the gobby cockney *****

Lazy ****, ****ing disgrace much like the rest of them
-
As far as renewaI goes I think it's possible to have two perspectives at the same time. I ****ing despise the owner, DOF and players with every fibre of my being. Also I enjoy the social element of the match, going away mostly and having a few beers, with the game often incidental. This season I've sacked off about 10 home games and likely do the same next season if not more.

Heartbreaking to see so many stalwarts cancelling their STs...King Power and Rudkin this is your legacy-hang your heads in shame.

I would love to be a fly on the wall, documentary style, to see how Rudkin spends his time, day by day, week by week. I suspect he actually does very little of substance, and is rarely flat out busy, as he only seems to do stuff at the last minute on deadline day etc when agents tell him who is available. What is he actually doing to justify his position and salary? As fans, we are completely and deliberately kept out of the loop as to what his direction of travel, strategy, plan or approach is around the running of the football club. I suspect it's because he doesn't really have one, keeps everything close to his chest and knows he can continually hoodwink the Thais based on his close relationship with the Chairman. All told, an absolute disgrace that he is still here and drawing a salary - he's taking the piss out of us all and if he had an ounce of integrity he would have resigned years ago.

All ego and training ground tricks, no end product. His token efforts to track back are beyond irritating. Another to bin off at the earliest opportunity.

Divine Mukasa joins on loan - Official
Mapperleyfox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He’s regressed since the first couple of games. Doesn’t affect the game or deliver any end product now in terms of forward passes, assists, getting into the box or shots. Another waste of space… -
Thick as a plank. Too unreliable and does t deliver enough quality often enough. Spends 75% of games whinging to linesmen when things don’t go his way. Then gets a pass because he pulls the odd goal out the bag. Another with a disgusting attitude. Even if we stayed up I’d get rid.
-
Noticed him not tracking runners a number of times today. Not willing to put in the hard yards like most of the disgusting rabble around him….we should do everything we can to get rid
-
Given that lazy Rudkin and the 'recruitment team' invariably go for the easiest option, usually someone they know or someone that's represented by one of their agent mates, it'll be someone that won't rock the boat, will not challenge the hierarchy over broken promises around budgets etc, and we'll continue to spiral into the abyss....

Leicester 2-1 Swansea Pompey 2-1 Leicester Leicester 1-1 Hull Leicester 0-2 Millwall Blackburn 1-1 Leicester
-
Sulky twat. Look at how he reacts when he gives it away or loses the ball. Zero end product, goals or assists have completely dried up. A waste of space.
-
He’s a disgrace. Shouldn’t be representing the club and symptomatic of everything that’s going on.
-
He’s dogshit. Caught out time and again. Academy or not, total liability.
-
Yeah…that strategic squad development that chucked £5m on Ayew, gave Thomas, Vestergaard and Choudhary massive long contracts and gave Coady 70k a week among others. Thats why he’s delivered the sustained competitive success they’re talking about… All this has to be a spiteful, deliberate dismantling because our supreme leader has spat his dummy out after we dared to criticise the big baby. I’ve said it before, him and Rudkin need to be made very uncomfortable if they turn up at the ground.
