  1. Remember guys, do the patriotic thing and support the person whose victory will bring England lots of joy through defeating his opponent, in that spirit! Come on Wu Yize!
  2. Second bonus point, not bad from 112-7! Incredible knock by Eskinazi aided by Ajaz Patel 👏🏼👏🏼
  3. Assuming we’re asked to follow on, we’ll likely have to bat 4 sessions to guarantee a draw.
  4. Hacienda?
  5. Looks like Cambridge for an away day then. Notts or Grimsby to join them pls.
  6. Stone must be bowling 92mph here, unreal
  7. Think it’s more about quality. Their squad is basically just a handpicking of smaller counties best players, traditionally us but now mainly Worcester with sprinklings of Derby and Northants mixed in.
  8. It’s not done yet but this Notts team is absolutely stacked with experienced county pro’s. Their batting line up is a joke in terms of quality and their bowling line up is pretty relentless too, so a lot to learn.
  9. None of these people committing acts have any links to these marches though? It’s an infringement on free speech and expression to ban them. It would be a disgrace just like banning any other political march.
  10. Honestly think Scriven should be one of the first names on the team sheet too. He’s got a knack for big wickets, can hold an end and can bat, his stats support the case. Then you can interchange the likes of Hull, Green (A) and Davey depending on fitness.
  11. Madness Green didn’t just bowl through tbh.
  12. Green is an absolute machine. 33 overs and 7-112, unreal effort for a seamer and has just about kept us in the game.
  13. The problem is that the most vocal people on either side here and the ones with the most entrenched views, whereas the matter is so incredibly nuanced. The things that isn’t nuanced is that everyone should be arguing against violence.
  14. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj9pn2v7m2wo This is such a minefield but banning these marches would be chillingly dumb. I’m not ashamed to say I’ve been on a couple and the 99.9% obviously want Jewish people in the UK to feel safe. There are bad eggs that need rooting out. But also you can’t use this to suppress outrage at the crimes of Netanyahu.
  15. Davis is saying that frame was embarrassing for the sport but he couldn’t be more wrong. It’s gonna be splashed all over social media, 10 o clock news, everywhere, it can only be good for the sport. Look at all the posts on here in the last hour.
  16. Upgrade based on evidence we’ve seen this season.
  17. The rest is history did a good series this week on 1975-76 and it’s funny they talk about the quality of politician even in what is historically perceived a terrible time. Things are REALLY bleak in this country politically right now. There are basically zero talented politicians in the upper echelons of party politics. People are angry, they will only vote for parties that will make things even worse and yet the historical popular parties offer absolutely nothing but further decline and anger. There’s nothing on the left either, which is sad for someone that identifies as left wing.
  18. The rise of Reform and the Green Party are due to the decline of this country and the complete inability of the main two (three) parties to do anything about it. While we decline views will sadly become more extreme. I share a lot of views with the Greens but also don’t agree with some things that they stand for.
  19. Pereira also destroyed wolves last summer so they’d be brave to give him money and a summer.
  20. If they win this and get in the UCL, they’ll sell Anderson and can go on a huge spending spree, get an elite manager and become regulars with the money they have. It’s a horrific scenario.
  21. Tielemans has dropped a 1/10 here
  22. Second division English sides would’ve won the European cup in the late 70’s/early 80’s.
  23. You’re forgetting the outrageous deflection and penalty shootout.
  24. The hell is he doing
