  1. Diaz clearly changed his direction to run into him.
  2. Pure cheating by Diaz, good refereeing.
  3. I actually feel for the PSG player there, he was clearly taking evasive action but you see them given.
  4. Bayern conduct is absolutely disgusting.
  5. It was sarcasm!
  6. Tom Helm on loan. Davey must be out for a while, not a bad bowler!
  7. It’s because nobody can truly sell a positive vision. Reform’s ’positive vision’ is to go back to a point in time that never excited. Labour and Tories are ‘we’re less bad than the other at managing uk decline’, Greens just not viable. Interestingly Plaid will do well in Wales because a more independent Wales is actually exciting.
  8. This is a good take. Labour’s inability to show off the good they’ve ACTUALLY done is one of the reasons why they’re so stupid.
  9. Thankfully Harry Kane or PSG will have them in tears in Budapest.
  10. This has been another very poor game. Arsenal the better side, Atletico hopeless. I still don’t really ‘get’ Arsenal, they’re not amazing at any aspect of the game but just seem very efficient.
  11. Pearson had about the same managerial experience but had also worked under Bryan Robson, Sam Allardyce, and Stuart Pearce for years amongst others.
  12. He took about three steps after he was nudged then launched himself onto the floor. Good refereeing.
  13. Moaning bunch of cheats. Appalling dive from Trossard.
  14. They just seem like miserable places where capitalism has sucked all the living out of life. They have insanely high suicide rates for example. Would be interesting to rate happiness levels of North Koreans in comparison and see what happens. Yes they’re oppressed by the state but I also bet on the whole they’re less miserable.
  15. Surely every political party thinks the voters are stupid? Most people that engage in these conversations on this thread are at least politically engaged which means you’re taking well thought out, rational perspectives towards who you’d vote for. We also represent about less than 5% of the population. Most people will not know what inflation is, will not understand the reasons why immigration has to exist in a modern western economy and why we have become a country in decline. They see politics as an annoyance, politicians as people that are actively making their lives worse. The brilliance of reform is that their PR and marketing is great. They’ll only worry about the consequences once they’re in power and even then they’ll still blame the system for why their insane policies will fail and people will lap it up.
  16. His ears are lovable to be fair but yes he seems a lot more charismatic than Zhao
  17. If Brits can properly get behind these Chinese lads then the sport has a complete new lease of life.
  18. A point is not catastrophic for MCFC. Means Arsenal know they can’t drop a point.
  19. Can I just say Keirnan is awesome and it’s so good to see him at a club where he’s appreciated like this. Good lad!!
  20. Holland has bowled very well the past three games and really needs a strike bowler at the other end to take advantage of his economical bowling. But everything else I agree with
  21. Why do you hate him so much? Of course he’s not Aggers, Jonners, Hussain etc or else he wouldn’t be commentating for a lower county team, but he has a calming cricket voice and even rich people deserve to be treated well by their employer.
  22. For me, the issue is the idea of ‘punishment’ for those that support a party that has opposing political views. So maybe this one isn’t the worst policy but then what if reform say, if we win power and you don’t for us, we’ll just remove all central funding to your council areas at let you rot.
  23. They have 6 test matches this summer, I think they should give probs 3 of them a go at some point and see who can perform best under pressure. Gay should get first dibs, give McKinney a go and get Sibley back in the set up. 2 tests each, whoever adapts best, invest more time in them over the winter in South Africa. Though watch Crawley keep his place or they’ll do something stupid like open with Jamie Smith.
  24. This seems like it should be illegal but I don’t know why? It’s like a low key form of manipulation/coercion?
