Daka was not a bad player in the first season he was here. He was the perfect understudy for Vardy and Kel. He’s clearly got worse in this environment. And ultimately of course it’s up to him to improve but surely that comes with coaching? How is he supposed to improve on his own? Do kick ups on sileby park?

Ok we’ve not necessarily ‘ruined him’, but it’s pretty clear that the environment is not one for players reaching their potential, there’s not been a player at the club since KDH who has drastically improved over a sustained period of time.
